Peja home debut

Prospect
26 pts. 13 boards. 3 Steals. 3 asts. 2. to. 5 from behind the arc.

Was he tanking it in Sacto? I saw the line while watching the Duke/BC game. I verified it on the net and was a little pissed. Then I realized what we got in return so I was calmed. I just wish he had more of these games for us earlier this season. Maybe our record wouldn't be so shabby.

Peja was just excited (not that emotional) and stepped up with all the guys out (including Stephen Jackson that game in the 2nd qtr), as I saw the game.

One game doesn't mean he was tanking it here the last year or so, that can't be said yet at all. It was the above. Pacers play the Pistons on Saturday, so when he likely won't play well, does that mean he wasn't tanking it here? ;)

Don't be at all surprise if Peja's numbers go up quite a bit in Indy's system. Their system is much more tailored for Peja than our system is. However, the game against the Lakers was a blowout so wait until they play a close game and see what happens down the stretch.

THe problem with Peja (in our case) was that you never knew which Peja will show up on a particular night. If he was more consistent he would have been safe this year.

I think Indiana will be happy with him if he can average 20pts 6-8 rebounds.

Well if that is your expections for the rest of his time in Indy, i think you will be a really grumpy person...

And I think he is capable of that.

He is more than capable of being a 20ppg type of player and his rebounding this month has been pretty bloody good so its not too much to ask for from Indiana's perspective.
