If GS wins tonite & LA loses.....does that mean LA would be 5th?

wow from finals to no PO to last in the pacific........

LOL. Almost. that would be sweet if they did.

But no, they have the same record as GS but hold the tiebreaker with them...thus..narrowly excape being last place in the Pacific =(

Quite frankly we don't WANT L.A. to sink any lower because at this point every loss is a good thing for them and brings them a better draft pick. Of course I've mentioned that I wouldn't mind seeing them revive so as to give us a rival again, but I don't want ot see them revive as in REVIVE by drafting another superstar. Let them wallow in mediocrity.

You have no faith in Mithc Kupchak's ablity to pick the uglist shepp out f the heard. Honeslty I belive that with out a clear cut top 5 pick He is likely to blow it.

Here's how the ballz are divvied according to Sky from LG.

1. Atlanta 250
2. Charlotte 177*
2. New Orleans 177*
4. Utah 119
5. Portland 88
6. Milwaukee 63
7. Toronto 35*
7. New York 35*
9. Golden State 14
9. Lakers 14
11. Orlando 8
12. Clippers 7
13. Charlotte (from Cle) 6
14. Minnesota 5

A coin flip tomorrow determines which of the asterisked teams get one more ball than the other. Also, it determines who between LAL and GS get the 9th and 10th picks assuming they and no one below them jump to a top 3 seed.

That win by Portland last night was potentially costly. Utah won the higher seed on the last day of the year and got 119 balls to Portland's 88.
