I thought I lost some faith on the Kings after they lost to the Spurs at home. They prove me wrong again. But then again, it's a road game, why can't they play with this kind of intensity at home?

Cool story for you all...As I was walking earlier today (along with my parents), I passed, out of all people in the world, A FELLOW SACRAMENTO KINGS FAN!!!! Didn't have a chance to converse, as we were both walking in opposite directions, but he saw that I was wearing a Kings hat, offered a fist bump (which I gladly accepted, of course), and all he said was "GO KINGS!!!".
Never in a million years did I ever think that, during my trip to Hawaii (Kauai), I'd run into a KINGS fan!!!!

I recall Grant Hill being injured a lot too. Especially after several years into his career.
And Zion Williamson is well on his way to match some of these guys.
As has been said before, it must be a Duke thing.

18 mil after taxes. 15 mil after living expenses if he was frugal (by NBA standards), 13M realistically. 10M after helping out family and friends.
He'd be lucky if he has 8M in the bank. Still a good chunk. But not enough to live his current lifestyle for the rest of his life, without some savvy business moves.
The guys that are set up for life after a modest/short career in the NBA are rare.
Me? Give me 5M and in ten years I'd have 50M, and a quarter bil in 20 years.
Should we trade Fox? He just isnt a winner...
On top of that, I think his dad is managing his money.
I actually think it means a ton. Longest playoff drought in professional sports, the laughing stock of the NBA, just turmoil in the FO/head coaches year after year. And the first year of the Monte/Brown combo and the first year of Domas/Fox we win the Pacific Division.
This really does feel like the first year of sustained success for the Kings.
I'd also include getting Kessler Edwards for less than nothing. McNair dealt the rights to David Michineau (who looks like he'll never play in the NBA) for Edwards and $2.6 million in cash considerations from the Nets.
Edwards has been a big spark down the stretch and the Nets actually paid the Kings to take him to save on the luxury tax.

If you had a crystal ball going into that draft and told someone that the #2 pick would end up being traded for Trey Lyles and it would be a great trade for the Kings. Unreal

Being a little bit more relaxed, is not always a good thing for some players and teams. Feeling "at ease" doesn't generally help defense. I'm hoping the playoff atmosphere removes any of this...and I think it will

who's to say he hasn't invested in something? we just don't know what he has remaining after expenses and taxes, etc. It's hard to envision another NBA team giving him a big pay day but then again, I didn't think the Pistons would give him a three year deal
