Don't know if it came across in the stats, or the PBP, or anything else, but New Orleans played on hell of a game.
We didn't expect them to. We certainly didn't want them to. But, they did. Give 'em credit.
Our boys just lost this one. Nothing fancy. They lost to a team that played a better game. Period.
Did the Kings make mistakes? Yep. Sure did.
Could they have won this game if they had done a, b or c? Yep.
If you had told me yesterday that the Kings would score 117 against the New Orleans Hornets and lose, would I have thought you were on drugs? Yep -- and good ones, at that.
But, it is what it is -- a loss to a team that came in with only two wins on the season. However, as some have already pointed out, the team that was on the floor was NOT the same as the team with the 2-29 record. And, they most certainly did not play like that team.
Now, can we please loosen the grip on the panic button?
