no pressure here but it pumps me up to see/hear/or think about how good Kevin Martin could be... weve been so focused on Bonzi Wells making moves and adding players that we have forgot that we got a soon to be star right here ready to explode ! ! ! who was the star when Wells went down... when we thought things couldn't get worse and they did... K-Mart ! ! !
he was a stud off and on but the best you could expect from someone so young and without lots of real playing time... non Kings fans are or have even take'n notice and theres a reason... i see a swagger setting in with K-Mart and its a look like he might shock even us with what he might be able to do this next year... he can shoot lights out... he might be faster than "the flash" (d-wade) he can bother fools on def. jump thru the roof and finsh the kind of plays only the greats can... that buzzer beater wasnt luck its a gift of his giving to him at birth... its what Webber and Peja are missing... Bibbys got it ... its called being a straight up winner and clutch... not lucky clutch...
im tired about hearing all this crying bout this and that... did the kings need a huge shot blocking center in 2002??? how about more def.??? NO IT CAME DOWN TO A LUCKY SHOT... but the point is that they were the best if not the 2nd best team in the nba and there def. was terrible... it was about the kings knowing what they were good at ... playing a "TEAM GAME" and smash pounding fools with our strengths...
THE GAME OF BASKETBALL IS PLAYED WITH
SHOOTING / PASSING / DEF. / AND HEART
the kings got maybe the best or top 3 best all around offenses
the kings are for sure top 2 or 3 best all around passing teams in nba...
the kings are defensively much improved and better at def. than weve ever seen... plus their still improving
and well
do they have the heart???
the heart issue left with Rick A. the players lost faith in his usage of the bench and being worn down to failure with too many min's.... they lost faith because of his lack of attention to def. and lack of intensity... they lost faith in the captain of the ship and the ship sunk....
HEART/// DO THE KINGS HAVE IT.... you think Musselman , Artest , Bibby , Martin , Miller , Sar , and company want to win??? YOUR DAM RIGHT THEY DO.... they needed a jolt and they got it now in Artest and Musselmen... winning starts with the coach down... Musselman will never let up in getting the most out of what hes got... AND YOU BET ARTEST WILL KEEP FOOLS HUSTLING AND ON THERE TOES....the only problems musselman ever had with players were the same Jordan had with teammates.... pushing and pushing to get the most out of the others...and never letting up on it... thats how you win... so ... THEY GOT HEART ! ! ! THATS 3 1/2 OF THE 4 KEYS TO THE GAME... NOT BAD...
OCT 12th .... the countdown begins ! ! !
