Now please select Westbrook if he's there.
Westbrook should be there; whether we should get him at the 12th spot is another question altogether, though. I love his potential and of course the defense/athleticism combination for a point guard, and he's got budding skills as well, but he's more clay than he is player, so to speak; while we have drafted skilled offensive players in the past few drafts (Douby, Hawes, Garcia, K-Mart) I guess a change in drafting style could work. We do need point guard/perimeter defense, and Westbrook provides that. But question is...he is a run-and-gun type player offensively; he can either ignite our offense, or just wallow if we get too bogged down in one-on-one play. A lot of question marks, a high risk high reward type player almost for our team, and if we get him, and I've said this before, Douby probably will be gone because both have similar frames.
Chicago with the 1st pick? What a strange tinge in irony too...made it to the playoffs and thrived only recently, and then the Kobe trade talks arguably put them in a downward spiral this year, and now, they get rewarded for all that. With Joakim Noah and Ty Thomas recently drafted, and with Luol Deng's solid inside game already, I'd think they'd go for Rose instead of Beasley. If so, perhaps Hinrich might be traded, but really look for a guy like Ben Gordon to be on the block.
and won't play them in the WC playoffs.
bulls get the number 1 pick.... wonder if they would trade ty thomas or hinrich? if they pick rose they dont need to have hinrich, gordon and hughes. if they pick beasley they dont need to have thomas, noah and gooden....
No matter who moves up, the lottery is always rigged. Would you be saying that if we had got the top pick?
well if u got a bullheaded coach who is looking to eclipse last yrs win total rather than position the team for the future.. you know who to blame. not enough moves were done to position the team for the lottery and we were lottery bound!
Or maybe you blame management for not assuring him that losses would not affect his job security. He was coaching for his job. You can look at quotes from GP, etc, that praised him for improving from last year's win total.

Doesnt matter who their rep was, as long as Krumbs Krauss is in charge they'll always be able to rebound...c'mon, it's Chicago, the countries 3rd largest city...that surprises you that they always seem to have good luck even during hard times??How many more times must the NBA rig the lottery. Anyone know who was the Bulls rep?
It musr be hard for the NBA to choose from all the teams that it has to cheat for. The Bulls get lucky = must have been fixed, because hey, big market and everything = not allowed to get lucky. New York gets lucks, well that's obvious -- jus thte Ewing draft all over again. New Jersey ghets lucky = obviously poaving the way for their move to Brooklyn, and the New York market again. We win its obviously because Stern is trying to help us get that new arena. Seattle wins its the same thing with their arena. Portland wins he's creating a new dynasty. I mean, man, by the time you get done listing all of the teams who could not possibly win the lottery without a conspiracy, it pretty much takes a conspiracy to make sure that none of them DO win it.
