It's bad news for us that we got the fourth pick, but we didn't get cheated. The same thing happens every year. It was always just wishful thinking to expect a top 2 pick anyway. But it could work out well for us that Washington got the fifth pick. That's the lowest pick they possibly could have gotten which means that pick is likely available for the right price. I know a lot of people will disagree with me, but I think in this draft picking #4 and #5 would be better than having just the #1 pick or the #2 pick. I think Griffin and Rubio will be great players, but I don't think they're as far ahead of the field as most seem to. If Thabeet and Jennings are both available at 4 and 5, I'd consider that best-case scenario for us. We'd get a PG and a dominant defensive player.
