Nuggs/Clips G5...

CLIPS~! What a year for them.

R2 for first time in 30 years. And imagine if they'd gotten Ron...

Cassell/Mobley/Artest/Brand/Kaman~Livingston/Radmanovic/Ross

*Phew* ;)

Honestly, is it possible that the venue change is what was the difference? Having games at Staples, a modern venue, allowed for more ticket revenue, which made the Clipper owner more willing to spend money on the players his organization drafted...

Very compelling meltdown by the Nuggz. Should make for an interesting summer. Martin's out for sure. Anyone else?

The nuggets should offer the Grizz Andre Miller for Mike Miller. Mike Miller could hit some threes and George Karl is obsessed with Earl Boykins anyways. The Grizz could use another point guard.

geez..the clips completely handled the nuggets. i thought they were gonna win the series, but i thought denver would put up more of a fight...

anyways, the lakers are now just one win away from forcing an inevitable los angeles western conference finals appearance. the question is: which LA team advances?!

It does factor in. Sterling was trying to get into the 30 year old Forum when Staples was being built. The Staples offer and his unwillingness to max out or match offer sheets on guys like Kandi or Taylor for years and years helped him avoid what the Knicks are going thru. Wouldn't even max out Manning due to his tude and age. Plus, can't discount that Baylor actually made some decent moves since 2000 (Brand for Chandler being tops, finally won on a center in the draft -- Kaman).

Los Angeles. ;)

Lakers in 6 or 7. They're not going to play the same way they did against Phx. Kobe will have to be more aggressive offensively to soften the blow from the Clippers' front line advantage.

Suns still may win this piece if they can force a Gm7. As much as they've been bothered, the games have all been close. Plus, they finally affected LAL's attack the paint game plan in Gm4. This is going to 6 games at least. Lakers won't win tomorrow, imo. Too young to close out on the road.

I don't know Man, I just don't see how they can control the Clipps inside. Brand and Kaman my eat Kwame for lunch if he doesn't step it up on the defensive end.....although he's been good it's not like the Phoenix front line is very big considering they start Boris Diaw at Center and Tim Thomas at PF who is a 6'10" 3 point shooter who seems to be allergic to paint.

Clips will be too balanced for the Lakers, as good as the Lakers can play together. I say Clips would win in 6.

Outside shooting/inside scoring/slashing/defense/running.

If it's Clips/Suns? Suns go no more than 5.

How stupid do the Nugget's look for not picking up Mobley, now (even though Mobley got a fairly hefty contract)? All it would've taken was giving up players that aren't even playing for them right now. Instead they sign a guy that they ended up trading for Reggie Evans, whose antic made this loss even more embarrassing.

Did anyone catch what Carmelo said? "I don't want to be like Kevin Garnett and take eight years to get out of the first round." :) I don't know if he meant it like that, but paging Garnett... This is what you get for staying loyal for so long. Now get on the phones and force a trade to Sacramento, already.

I can't wait to see the next time KG plays against Melo
