This game sucked. Evans shouldn't have taken that shot. He should have gotten the ball to Omri for the game winner. Bench him until he understands.sarcasm
Haha. I do like the fact this team isn't afraid even when things go wrong, for example, since you mentioned Casspi, it's worth noting he missed some shots, but was never hesitant to take the next one. He made that big 3 which gave the kings the lead in the last minute or so, takes some courage after missing your previous two shots. If he had missed, the game would not have gone the same way, and he would be the goat. Tyreke, well, its really great to seem him do well, but we must remember that both of these guys are rookies, and if lets say Lebron (hypothetically obviously) was on Tryeke instead of Martin, he might not have been as successful, and that's fine, they are just learning the game as rookies.

Tyreke made the game tying lay-up with Lebron defending him when we played the Cavs...

I just saw the Evans' game winner on nba.com (top story by the way) ...damn that was a nice way to end the game. That was a tough shot and a nice little move to get there. I like that he didn't wait until 3 seconds left on the clock to make his move, like with his other 1-4 flats.

A bunch of kids come into the league with the potential to be great, but fail to learn from their mistakes and adapt. Looks like Evans remembered what went wrong last time, and adjusted.

He's made a boatload of big shots in the last month. Yeah, came up short against Kobe. Had a shaky game last time out. But if people have already forgotten how clutch Reke is 2 months into his career, this is going to be a looong 15 years.

And he's been doing that since day 1. :)

It is the same. It was a clutch game tying lay-up with Lebron James defending him. The kid didn't lose his cool and took it to the hole without any hesitance. The Over-time on the other hand was a different story.

Reke just said in locker room that he wanted to make the one-four flat work this time because coach told him to run it and make it good. Not an exact quote but I really like his attitude as much as his talent - and all of that says a lot.

Not exactly the same (winning is everything), also the overtime was a lesson for all the kings (Tyreke no exception).

Way to pop on here with a compeltely spurious argument.

Yeah, ALL he did was tie the game and send it to OT against Bron. I mean afterall everybody does that right? And of course every team has Lebron James on them to guard you.

this kid is already an elite clutch performer. Like everything else about years ahead of the curve, and another one of those things that trhe geat ones share.

Great win for the Kings! First win 0f 2009 too. Man, that was a good game, although I thought it was another blowout after Denver got that huge lead in the 1st half. Nice to see Evans learning about quite a bit about making game winners.

- We need to Start Brockman in every game from here on out. The guy's a spark plug and a monster rebounder. Also, something good always happens when he's in the game for the kings

- JT's still struggling although the foul he drew on Nene down the stretch was big

- Hawes also played good today and he hit a lot of big shots. I'd like to see him rebound more though.

I'd really savor this win. It feels good, especially since we've had so many close losses the past weeks. Something to make me happy before we get mauled by Dwight Howard and the Magic.

OMG I have been doing this too! I am stuck in the last decade !!

If it was the same we would have a W instead of an L, the situation matters. Billups hit an unbelievable 3 to tie the game, but no one will remember that (justifiably) because the Kings won the game. Sure that game went to overtime, but same situation, in fact Tyreke's overtime wasn't so memorable either. Just my opinion, but game winning shots are what makes champions, if you tie the game late, but don't show up to finish the job, it doesn't count for much.

wow reke... when watching him you just forget hes a kid still. Hes so amazing. Brockman gets his first start and makes a huge impact.

My buddy who is a raptors fan was watching the game and gave huge props to our rookies. he even said he think tyreke will be a superstar. love when i hear that from non bias people :) huge win!!! now i am happy for the rest of the weekend lol. !!! Love THESE KINGS!!!!

I wasn't doing anything of the kind, just saying this win is great, but don't expect every game for the rook to end like this, especially if the opponent is a very good defender. Many here get super hyped over a win only to become disillusioned when the Kings lose. It's a learning process, that's all I'm saying. I'm sure if he misses his next shot in a big game or something a new thread will pop up on whether he really is "a true PG" or some other nonsense like that.

He was terrible in the clutch last time out not shaky. Ballhogging trying to embarass his opponent instead of trying to win a game. Also add to that the failures of the cavs. Although he also did hit some big shots too I'll give him that.
He's is STILL a rookie and acts like one sometimes. He still needs to learn a lot about the game so way to early to put on pink glasses on.

Lol I think its ok for him to act like a rookie sometimes. I mean he is a Rookie. :) Tell me when was the last time a rookie has hit clutch shots at the end like this?

yeah, you really cant use the the cavs game as an example of him being clutch when he didnt score anything in overtime.... they wouldve been better off losing in regulation than going scoreless in overtime while ilgauskas hits three pointer after three pointer.... after three pointer....
