The only way I think this would have happened is if we used the $ we gave Salmons on a big man who we needed and still do, more than ever!!! If we spent our MLE visely, then we would still have a need for Bonzi to maybe come off the bench and be at the team's disposal, also keeping his weigh in check etc. But now, feelings are hurt, we signed Salmons, and we are jammed at the 1-3 positions and need lots of help at 4-5, so I don't think it's going to happen.
I also agree that Kenyon is trouble and we need to rid ourselves of KT, not get more bad contracts for troubled people. Kenyon is one of the highest payed players on the Nuggets and has been suspended for actions not cohesive to the team, he also has had injury problems and hit performance doesn't warrant his contract and also his attitude problem.
Bonzi could be a problem, as he has demonstated in the past and with his current contract situation. Artest on the other hand has been a breathe of fresh air thankfully. We sure could have been in deep with trouble if our potential troublemakers blew up at the same time (Artest, Bonzi, and KT)
