Nobody is safe.

I’d put anybody on this roster on the market. Nobody is safe.
Yup.
I'm Ok with moving Fox now that he has Klutch in his ear. I feel like he's already moved on mentally and he should have pretty good trade value assuming we move him before his annual "I'm gonna play like **** and act all sullen for six weeks" thing he's been doing for years now.

That being said, Fox is easily our most talented player so if you move on from him you might as well make everyone untouchable.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a fire sale, I also wouldn't be surprised to see some dinky moves and us finishing 11th in the West.

I would rather trade Fox than a bunch of picks for one or two guys with the pressure to save us.

I'd like to keep Domas and I don't see much value in trading Keegan. I think we've failed him more than he has failed us.

And I'd object to trading Carter before he suits up for us given that drafting him and not a player that fit an immediate on court need helped us get where we are right now.

Everyone else we should entertain anything that gets us better. None of the pieces fit right now.

There isn’t a single team above us that we’re better than finishing 11th would be a miracle

Trade fox and rebuild through the draft get Herro and Ware cause you’re not winning with Sabonis at center either. And speaking of Herro how is fox even better than him

Serious question for the mods, do we really need this guy on the forum? I’m not even taking issue with this particular premise but the dude only comes around to make doomsday posts. It’s literally his only “contribution”. We have real contributors on this forum with a wide variety of opinions and then there is this. This is something else.

There are people who are nothing but positive and refuse to say anything negative about the team. If in the one who’s going to point out the opposing point of view what’s the problem? We’re all equally Kings fans. There are just two sides of the spectrum. If you’re too sensitive for the opposing take don’t click the thread. People are clearly agreeing with me so what’s the issue here?

Some unsolicited advice from a long time poster who has been rocking 50/50 ratio of negative jerk to doofus Homer since the early aughts: You gotta pepper in a little positivity now and then, my friend!

You were talking **** during the Beam Team season. Pick your battles! That was the happiest a lot of us were in a long time. If you cheered along with us back then people would be more receptive to your now not-so-hot takes.

And that's the end of my TedTalk.

you only post negatives, there is not one regular poster on here that only post positives. I’m not sensitive to opinions I’m tired of your Schtick and frankly I would like to see you leave unless you want to contribute substance.

The last 2 seasons Fox was miles better, Herro has played great this year but he does not make others better (Fox did somewhat for 2 years prior to this) and the Heat are only 1 game above 500. In the East and only look great when Butler is playing at a high level. If I were the Heat I would sell high on him and Bam next season when he's eligible when his max kicks in.

On pure talent Fox is miles ahead of Boy Wonder.

Some people are just utterly miserable and only take "joy" when things are bad and they can tell everyone else how "right" they always were.

Like if we rifle of 10 straight wins (unlikely) this guy will disappear for 3 weeks.

While we have seen that happen, I don't think a 10 game win streak is likely this year. As a reminder to all, there is an "ignore" button that might help limit the wailing and gnashing of teeth that you see.

I'm being serious right now. Did you think Christie, with zero lead practices under his belt, was going to transform the team into contenders immediately?
What should be disconcerting is that the toughness and defense that Christie wanted on defense is wholly absent on his first game. Same ol' same ol'. You don't need time to change the effort thing. Of course I realize the "contenders immediately" comment is a red herring. By the way, how long do you anticipate it will take for Christie to turn it around in a non-contender sort of way?

I know I'm not going to judge a guy who hasn't even led a full practice.

Among many other issues with Herro, he's perpetually always got some sort of injury going on, is kinda bad at defense, I guess he might be a better shooter than Fox but that doesn’t really make up for the huge difference between the guys in terms of people who actually have to game plan for, also he got judo tossed by a stick figure. There’s a reason Herro is always the guy the Heat put in all these hypothetical deals for a star instead of Jaquez or even Jovic (who at this point is absolutely being held back in Miami for some reason).

Kings have 18 games until the trade deadline. It's a damn small timetable, but I think that's basically what Christie has to work with to A. get this season back on track and B. Put his hat in the ring to get this job full-time.
Doug really should be in a pretty decent position either way. Overperform? Great. Stay a lotto team and what better coach to rebuild with.
