He also took a hell of lot more shots. Mainly because he was the only one on the team that was a scorer. Not so on Michigan.

So you wouldn't want carmelo, harden, and love on this team? None of them really play a lot of D, but are considered to be stars. what about Nash in his prime? Peja?
Tell me again how many plays Nik has been involved in so far in his NBA career? Plenty of bad college defenders improve in the NBA.

Since when? Harden is one of the worst defenders in the nba. Melo has his good and bad days, but is over matched by anyone with real ability.
Nik is still young and actually shows a want to get better on his all around game.
I get you don't like the pick, but he and Jimmer are nothing alike. Also, ppg and career high is a horrible measure of a college player.

LeBron James plays defense depite being a primary scorer! So do Paul George, Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, Tim Duncan etc...
Being a primary scorer has absolutely nothing to do with whether or not someone can or should play defense!

All good defenders who are also scorers. Lebron didn't have a great year on D, but he's still above average. Not sure who you're referring to.
