How about whoever we pick is so excited he takes a twisting fall on the steps up to the podium wrecking a knee and ankle and he's never the same. It's the Kings...could happen.

I have a bad feeling they do pass on rubio and take flynn.

What would be a worse PR disaster, taking rubio and him being a bust or passing on him only to have him become an all star/HoF type?

The Kings FO is DESPERATE to come away a winner this year at the draft. They know that if they don't there will be a major backlash from everyone. If Rubio and Evans get picked before us expect a trade with someone who either wants thabeet or a trade up for Evans or Rubio. I doubt we trade Thompson or Hawes after a season where Grant and Jerry pretty much melted over the fact that they will be here for a long long time. Especially since there is a huge discrepency in quality big men this year. I'm pretty confident in whatever happens because the organization knows if it isn't good...it their head.

It has us passing up Rubio and Evans for Flynn.... thats so dumb... wow!

That sort of thing would be a nightmare. Just ask Boston.

I'd be fine with Thabeet. It is so much easier to build a team around a legit shot blocker or a true point. Both types of players make the rest of the game easier.
