NFL 2022-2023 Season Thread

This is sorta how it went last year against the Bears too. A ridiculous Justin Fields play making the game closer than it actually feels.

Hufanga has been amazing, he is all over the field.

Bears extremely lucky to only be down 3. It feels like a slaughter.

Still expect the 49ers to pull away soon, it seems inevitable.

My hot take is the weather had something to do with it, but this feels like a coach who doesn’t trust his QB.

You don’t trust your QB all game and now you have no choice. Shanahan never learns with the conservative crap

Well I wasn't expecting this. Fields doing much better second half now that the coach is actually letting him throw it (occasionally). I'm tired of us running it down the middle 80% of the time, let Fields go and make plays.

Still expect 49ers to come back and take the lead.

QB play has absolutely nothing to do with blown coverages multiple plays in a row.

What Trey’s been allowed to do he’s done decently enough. Just feels way too safe, and now we’re losing.

Gloves off. Go let him win it.

Offense gets an D today, and the defensive grade is now down to a C+ after a stellar 1st half --- Lance gets a C- , no big mistakes but his short passing has sucked.

no not QB play but use, it has something to do with a game that was throughly dominated by the Niners defense for 40 minutes being completely for the taking and undone as a result of a couple blown defensive plays. 20 of 29 plays were runs despite successful pass plays.

now the pressure is on and now he has to make the plays he wasn’t trusted to make for the first 70 percent of the play calling…we’ll see what happens
