I hate that football palace that is SoFi. Why couldn’t the Niners build something nice?
Because the Niners aren’t directly next to the HQ of NFL Media?

and we didn’t have two teams bankrolling the Big Bellbottom

Fair. But why couldn’t it be awesome like Minnesota’s? Or a Death Star like Vegas. Or an innovative modern design like ATL?

Levis just sucks. It’s a sterile boring office building with a football field plopped in the middle of it.

Mac at least puts them back on the path they would’ve been on if Tom Brady hadn’t made them dump Jimmy G. Not exactly the most exciting brand of football but probably playoff ball as long as their defense doesn’t suffer too many injuries and their skill players can hold on to the ball.
It's sorta funny with all the other 20 years ago going on right now, just under 20 years ago I was in KC doing a job for my old company (and putting my foot down on travelling again - took a desk job immediately after) when Bledsoe went down and Brady made his first start. It took me more than a full season to believe that Brady was the permanent guy. I'm 100% not expecting Mac to replace Brady but I am also slightly more optimistic after one game and just seeing his command that the team is in good hands. He took some hits and still threw crisp well placed passes and really a few bad penalties and two drive killing fumbles were all that stood between him and his first win. No slight to Jimmy G, but I'm more than ok they moved on and are where they are, and absolutely ecstatic they did not trade back for him.

It’s okay to slight Jim. He’s not great. I’d barely even call him good.

Eli Manning or Eli Manning? Did someone else beat him? I take Eli over Jim 100 times out of 100.
Really? I don't think I would. Granted I was sour on Eli the day he came into the league.
