The Verrett injury is going to be a big problem for the Niners if it's an ACL tear. He's the best corner by far.
 
Pats fumble the ball in the red zone to potentially spoil Mac’s debut.
Mac's a little boring but as far as pocket guys go he's absolutely the real deal and both of those fumbles were inexcusable. I'm pretty calm right now though. I feel like the team is in solid hands for at least as long as BB is coach.

Mac at least puts them back on the path they would’ve been on if Tom Brady hadn’t made them dump Jimmy G. Not exactly the most exciting brand of football but probably playoff ball as long as their defense doesn’t suffer too many injuries and their skill players can hold on to the ball.
 
Red Rocket starting instead of Fields makes less sense than Jimmy starting over Lance, I say as the Bears roll over the Rams defense.
 
Bear running a Fields package after watching Kyle do his thing is like when you come to school in new shoes and your butthead classmate showing up with the exact same fit a week later.
