I'm a little unclear how Gilmore's cap situation played out in any trades. IIRC he took a mega front load deal when he signed the current contract, which is why he was now moaning about "only" making 7 million or something this season. But I had heard his cap hit was in the 16 million range for other teams, so must apply the average figure in a trade?

I'm torn on what I want Kyle to do. On the one hand, I want Trey to start this week. On the other hand, if Garoppolo starts there is a very good chance he injures his calf even worse. I hate seeing anyone get injured, but it would be nice to see Trey get 2 or 3 games at the helm. My guess is he would never give it back.
