Yes absolutely he's the perfect QB for the system. They should be 2-2 and I had this game pencilled in as a L and they were in it until the end.

Yeah, I would've been fine with Mac at the Niners original slot. Plus then you could trade Jimmy for more draft capital.
But the second we moved up to 3. there was absolutely no way I would've been happy with anyone other than Lance or Fields.
I understand why him leaving was needed for everyone and hearing him say when his on field career ends and he'll be back really made me smile.
Both of them are quicker than Lance.... porbably stronger though. I think Jackson is the fastest ,Murray the quickest., Allen the strongest.
Exactly what would happen in a 9er uniform - he's over-the-hill....still has good instincts, but lost a step-and-a-half. I used to HATE Sherman -- still don't like him - Mr. "I'm the best there is"....shea he couldn't hold Deion's jock, nor Woodson, Green, Gilmore, Reavis, on and on. They won in spite of Sherman.
He looks like Bledsoe - alot so.....
He's not as good Smith. Doesn't have mobility or arm-strength. He's Drew Bledsoe's 2nd coming. He does have better pocket presence than Jimmy G already.
I watched the man's entire career in New England and I don't see this at all.
It was blink and you missed it but we're talking about a guy who's every handshake has been analyzed the last 15 years, that hug was an eternity.
