Don't agree with Kap politically but that was never my problem with him. That first year I was a huge fan of him. My problem with him was he didn't want to become a better QB. He relied on his physical ability almost 100% of the time and never wanted to put in the classroom work to become a well rounded QB after that unbelievable 1st year. Teams figured him out his second year and Kap made zero adjustments. Kurt Warner offered to help him out and I will never forget Warner talking to the NFL network after Kap lost his job. Warner said that whenever he met with Kap he was always in the weight room and never the film room. The great QB's are film freaks, always tweaking their game. Kapernick wasn't that and his numbers tailing off reflect that.

If he has changed his QB-ing philosophy teams will take a flier on him. Serviceable QB's are extremely hard to find.

If kap can contribute to a team he will get a job, regardless of his political baggage. There are a lot of bad QB’s making zero contribution right now.

That was crazy last night. Mason Rudolph is lucky he wasn’t seriously hurt. Had Garret connected clean with that helmet swing, it could’ve been similar to when Rudy T got busted up by Kermit Washington.

The problem has never been with his arm, it has always been with his head. He never got better at reading the defense and making adjustments. On top of that, he would constantly call audibles at the line which often ended up in shot clock violations (or a TO). Being away from the game likely means he hasn't improved in these areas, which are what got him benched in the first place.

I’m curious to see if he has reigned in how fast he would fire in short yardage passes. He would throw a five yard pass as hard as he would throw a 45 yard pass.

Yup. We’re bad again.

Not really bad. But we’re gonna get stomped by the good teams coming up.

Let’s see. Can Jimmy do it when it matters most. I pray they don’t put it on kick man’s foot again.

Jimmy G can suck for 95% of the game but when the game is on the line he's Joe effing Montana.

Much like Joe Cool himself
