Our summer league bunch will practice for the first time together at the King's practice court in Sacramento. Scheduled for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, I guess - the 9th, 10th and 11th. A beginning. I guess I'll be limited to a few written words in the Bee the next day. It would be fun to be a fly on the wall. Maybe it is the first meeting of Casspi and Cousins. Anyway, keep me posted all you agents. Thanks.

I remember last year only a couple of days into practices a tweet came out from one of the NBA beat guys (maybe Yahoo), that said: The Kings think they have not just a star but a superstar on their hands.

and on the 11th day the Kings move to Sin City. Summer league for them starts next day on 12th then daily games 13th & 14th before day off. Then near real-time inputs from Bajaden and Cruzdude court side starting on 14th. Personally, don't go to first game or two at summer league to give the over excited FA's and rookies time to settle down and play to their skill level. First games always seem like they are sponsored by Red Bull and tend to be more comical and out-of-control than real ball.
