News from the NBA BOG meeting - April 2012

You're not putting lots of money into it yet. You haven't put any money into it and the first time you were supposed to you balked.

Reporter: Are you trying to back out of the deal
George: absolutely not. We still want this to work.

Really? They brought up 10 points why this is a horrible deal. They just compared sac to stockton. This deal is not workable. Now george is saying he still wants this deal. No wonder they only own 2% of the palms and no longer have their fathers beverage company.

Hasn't the NBA been in charge of ticketing/marketing for the Kings? Haven't these clowns proven their incapable of running a franchise?

Your "partner" took over half of your expected predevelopment costs to pacify you. That's why they want to be reinbursed if the project fails.

"If the city has the money they claim to have...."

Excuse me.

BWHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHHAHAHAHH

Really, George? Talking about someone else claiming to have money?

How can we believe you want to stay in Sacramento after you spent the first 10 minutes of the meeting dumping on the city and its economic viablity?

If you didn't believe it beforee, you have to believe it now. The Maloofs are broke and can't finance their portion. Clear as day.

George Maloof just sounds like a random fan, no idea what he is talking about.

I hope someone is recording this press conference

THANK YOU TO THE DUDE WHO SHOT DOWN THE IDEA OF PBP BEING RENOVATED!!!!! It's been tossed around. It has been concluded that a new arena would be cheaper to build in the long run....

These guys are going in 10 different directions. These guys are crazy!!
Ive heard for 3 years how PB CANNOT BE REMODELED. Now he's saying that may be the best option. Didn't the maloofs hire an architect who said it was impossible to remodel?
