What I like: Steve and Stephon in the East gives the West a chance to put in some real point guards. Nash should start, and Bibby has a better shot than previous years.

Tracy over Kobe? I have no idea where that came from but I don't care.

Brad, unless he gets injured, it guaranteed a spot. But then again, didn't he injured himself in the game last year?

Peja finally gets more votes than Chris. Even last year, when he was up for MVP, Chris had more votes and he hadn’t even stepped foot on the court.

Ok, I was going to write more but I just realized I have class in 10 minutes. Peace out cub scouts!

Don't Make Me Use The Bat

The starters really don't matter anymore -- the process is so corrupt that its really just a joke. Benchers are far more legitimate.Be interesting to see if either of our forwards make it. Webb clearly belongs there on talent/acheivement this year, but I think that depends to a certain degree on how they want to handle the PG and C positions. I think the coaches can take anybody they want after the first 5, and are not restricted by position. So it would not surprise me at all to see Stoudamire taken basically as center #2 (which he plays there anyway) and Lewis as guard #5, which would open up space for at least Webber among the forwards. But if they play it strictly by position then Miller is probably center #2 and Bibby looks like PG #2 (given the injury and record its impossible to see Baron making it), and then it seems doubful either of our forwards makes it because they won't want us to have more guys there than any of the other top teams.

If Rashard will be chosen, so is Ray Allen. I won't be surprised if Bibby will not make it this year, there's tons of great guards in the West.

West Starter:
Kobe, T-Mac, Garnett, Duncan, Yao

Bench:
Nash, Allen, Marion, Nowitzski, Amare

11-12th:
It would be B.Miller, Lewis, Kirilenko, C-Webb, Pedja, Maggette, Gasol, or Boozer

So many options, Bibby will not make it!

I think at least three Suns would be an All-Star this year...Just like those old Lakers, Van Exel, Eddie Jones and Shaq did long ago....

In the East: Starter:
Iverson, LeBron, Carter, Hill, Shaq

Bench:
Francis, Wade, Jamison, JO, Ben Wallace

11-12th:
It would be Pierce, Marbury, Emeka, Redd, Jefferson or Arenas....

Would be an exciting All-Star game this February....

this is total bs....our guys deserve to be on the team...not vince carter, who"doesn't even play hard"! This really irritates me that people don't have enough basketball sense to pick the guys who are deserving to play. Are sports like Hockey and football's all-star games based on fan voting? I have never really noticed? If they aren't then why can't the NBA do that? God, the voting process for the All-star game makes me sick.

All star game.... yawn!
I do like the 3 point shoot out and the slam dunk though.
word. not even fun to watch anymore, imo.

i would really prefer that none of the kings made the all star team. last thing we need is one of our guys getting injured in some showy popularity contest that means absolutely nothing.

I agree... if you remember last year's All-Star Event included the beginning of a shooting slide for Peja when he lost the 3pt contest and an injury to Miller. What's the point?

hehe....i think everybody here remembers all too well. after the all star break, the kings were not the same team. it was quite a depressing slide. i would prefer the kings just rested during the all star break. maybe get in a few easy-going practices, further the team chemistry, watch some football, play some golf, anything except participating in the all star game.

I predict a Ostertag/Miller hunting or fishing trip!

just a thought, how's the chance of our rookies got selected to the rookie game this year? how Kevin and Mo playing lately they definately derseve a spot. but at the begining of the season they got no playing time..

i would love to see our young boys there.

I don't think Mo Evans is a rookie...so he won't make it.

I don't know, I don't really want to see Brad at the All-Star game. I'm worried he might get hurt again. I also don't want to hear him complain that he'll rather be fishing & hunting than play basketball.

I really hope none of our guys play in the All-Star game.

I guess there are more All-Star voters in China and Houston than there are in Possum Hollow, Indiana and Sacramento.
