NCAA March Madness (merged)

I caught a few minutes of a Mizzou game on TV when I went back there in Feb for a funeral and they were playing well. This was around the time Blake got his concussion. I think I saw about 30 minutes of a couple different college games. That is high-quality bracket research for ya! ;)

Hmm..I have seemingly managed to NOT complete my bracket as planned last night... Here's to hoping to stay high on the leaderboard until the gaps in my bracket do me in :)
 
Me too, re: Butler, but its just a meaningless first round game... unless you actually had them knocking off UNC too.
 
I had 6/8 and 4/4 going into the finals last year, an insurmountable lead except in one case... which happened when I lost to some dude who went to Kansas and made homer picks. So all those early games really amount to squat unless the consensus favorite wins.

I have Pitt (though I scratch my head why)... who you got?
 
I am 7 for 7. Woohoo! Do not....I repeat....do not expect this to continue. :p

BTW - uolj, two of the 8/9 picks are completed. I had an 8 in one and a 9 in one. Got em both. Hehehehe!

I picked Oklahoma to win it all, which is sweet because no one here picked them, so if they win I win =]

Im in 2 other groups ( over 150 ppl in each one ) and Im pretty sure none of those other people have oklahoma either ..
 
I didn't even think about the one here. I just threw one up on facebook last night after getting tired of waiting for an invite. Only 15 peeps, pride the only thing on the line.
 
I just merged the threads about March Madness, since they were going to end up paralleling each other anyway...

Since we're talking about real games can't it at least live in the general section rather than the fantasy section? I won't even discuss my bracket from here on out... well once I get to a tv set. You'd think that managing an AV department I could find a set of rabbit ears somewhere near my desk to plug into one of the dozen or so tvs I have access to.

I could move it to the general. I didn't bother because I left a permanent link in the General forum which, if clicked upon, takes you right to this thread anyway.

If Nova goes down my bracket is shot. I picked them to go to the final four. Come on Nova don't screw me over on day one.

Nova is a 3 seed .. Probly hurt alot of brackets, including mine. Some more than others of course, but upsets are fun, and I really think American can pull it off ( unlike Cal Sate - Memphis, memphis was too good to lose that early ) .. Im still pulling for American.
