UCLA/Zags what a game. My heart goes out to the Zags, I was rooting for UCLA to come back and make a game of it as I always like to see the Pac-10 well represented but I would have loved to have seen Gonzaga in the Final Four.

Wish WV would have won, but Duke losing is enough to make any night worthwhile :)

UCLA~! What a fantastic comeback by the Bruins... great defense and hustle

Also, one hell of finish in that WVU/Texas game..

Duke losing rules, even if it messes with my bracket.

The finish for both the UCLA/Gonz game and the Texas/WV game were just fantastic. Talk about some clutch shooting.

How exactly is it that they were robbed? They had the game won with about 10 seconds left to play and couldn't get it done.

Both Zags/UCLA got robbed at a point late in the game. UCLA just played better down the stretch because of their defense. Also, Zags shouldn't of done the wasting clock thing, and were forced into bad shots, thus UCLA creating the comeback. On the pass to Batista from Morrison after he got trapped, Batista shouldn't of just stood there with the ball and his arms up, should of got it to a guard.

Morrison will be the talk of the sports world today if it was a weekday. With alot of time on the clock hes crying?!?!?! WTH was that?!

Zags choked. UCLA won fair and square. This game will be remembered for a long time for several reasons.

Seriously, they had 2.5 seconds left and a 3 could have won the game. That's after they choked away their first chance to re-take the lead. They were completely shellshocked by what hit them, lost all composure and rather than trying to make a real play were already in full on desperation mode. The really good/great teams can get a play off in that time. Morrison was just sad. Interesting that JJ Reddick went out pretty much the same way on the same night although he was relegated to the sidelines in the final seconds of Duke's chokejob.

sigh, i can't believe the choke job by gonzaga. geez, at least attempt to score in the last 3 minutes??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
give me a break, they deserved to lose that one. all they did was run down the clock and give it to morrison to create something. they should have continued their game plan and get everybody involved. this reminded me of the kings meltdown a few years ago.

They're 20-year-old college students. Give them a break.

I realize that players cry during the tournament, but crying before the game is over is a new one for me. Especially when you still have a chance to tie or win. Especially when you're the #1 player in the country.

ROFL if that was Kevin Garnett crying at the end of the game everyone would be talking about "oh his passion and love for the game and he can't stand losing!" Morrison cares about his team, he wanted to win the whole thing. Did you expect him to freaking be happy they lost? Maybe he could've said: Hey everybody we know we lost but I have good news! I saved some money by switching to Geico!

give me a break.

^^I agree B52, Morrison played a solid game and does not deserve the brunt of blame for the choke job orchestrated by his coaching staff. geez, hes a young kid who played in a big game, emotions were running high. I personally think he will develop and mature into a special player.

oh yeah.. hook em'!!

You just gotta believe

Yes! Nova!!!:D BC got killed by Ft's, boy does that sound familiar:rolleyes:
Let me tell ya what's familiar. Villanova's beating heart. They are quite often not the most talented team on the court but they got something that we can only call heart. Just like the Sacramento Kings of yesteryear. Only one difference. VU is a team of destiny. How could you not see that.

Grew up right down the street from Villanova. Spent many days playin hoops on campus w/ eye out for the girls. Saw three of my brothers attend VU.

This, for the moment, is my team...

Well there's plenty of talent but lets just keep in mind this is four guards playing against the tall trees. They just keep winning. I'm amazed

Maybe I'm a mean heartless bastard, but still... cry AFTER the game, not when its still going and you have a chance to win or tie. There's a HUGE difference.
