Never thought I would be cheering for the Rockets to get past the Clippers, the Rockets got a couple guys I like (Brewer, Prigoni and Ariza), I just can't get over how unlikeable Cp3 and Blake are (both played amazing against the Spurs but).

Hopefully the Grizz can somehow beat the Warriors although I just have a hard time seeing it, they need the best Jeff Green ever to out come.

Looks like we're on opposing ends. I can't stand the Rockets. Harden gets the pure superstar treatment. Can't breathe on the guy. Also, all the Rockets do is jack threes and play little defense. Howard with the diva attitude ... Their announcers are terrible as well. I used to like them when they had a lot of Kings castoffs, but since Harden and Howard went over they've been crowning themselves champions without having won diddly squat.

A Warriors-Rockets conference finals would be unbearable to watch IMO. Might set a record for number of 3s taken in a game.

This is actually the first time I've got respect for Dwight in ages and it actually started from I think the first game off the season when Kobe tried to punk him and Dwight was not having it, Dwight this year has not been a diva at all and he's shown great toughness coming back from a bad knee. I will say I would not mind a Clippers vs Grizzlies west finals lot of bad blood there and nothing beats bad blood in the playoffs.

I'm just hoping the Grizz can breakthrough and win a title would love to see Z-bo get his first and all those tough vets (aside from Allen/Beno who already won rings) get there day in the spotlight.

Western conference semis presents only one unobjectionable team, in my opinion. The least objectionable conference finals for me would be Grizzlies/Clippers, but I'm not holding out hope that we'll get that.

I find myself undecided on who I hate more. Clippers or Rockets.. I don't even like the warriors apart from Draymond Green. Too bad about Conley otherwise the Griz might have had a slim chance of sneaking into the conference finals but now it's certain. They may not win even a game.

Cleveland looks totally one-dimensional or two-dimensional whereas Chicago looks multi-dimensional and simply better overall on both ends. This series might go deep but it might not.

I'll go out on a limb and say it will be NBA final four of Chicago v. Washington and Golden State v. Houston.

Pathetic showing from the Rockets today. James Harden is supposedly an MVP-caliber player and yet he couldn't do much damage against the fearsome defense of J.J. Redick. Clippers are already a more talented team and they're just going to steamroll the Rockets if they don't find an ounce of heart and pride.

Bulls-Cavs has the making of a great series. It's awesome to see Lebron and the Cavs vs Rose and the Bulls in the playoffs again, only this time both teams look much more talented overall. It's a shame the Cavs lost Love.

The Western Conference Trophy is for the Memphis Grizzlies to lose now that the Spurs are done.
Warriors are the crowd darlings but I can't see a reason why Memphis would blow this chance even if Conley is out.

I hate the Rockets even more for making me cheer for the Clippers. James Harden isn't that good when refs swallow their whistles. His defense is still terrible and he completely loss Barnes for a dunk in a playoff game. Rockets gave up with a good 2 minutes left in the game, didn't even bother trying to play defense to make the score a little more respectable. Pathetic. Hope they get swept.

The Warriors are a good team and having Conley out is a huge deal for the Grizzlies. He's part of their core. I'm not even sure the Grizz can win a game without him let alone beat the Warriors.

the Warriors have been killing the Grizzlies whenever Bogut was healthy and they were killing them in Game 1, too. Unless Conley comes back, this is a sweep, and even if they have him from now on, I don't see this going more than five games.

Mr. Kia strikes again with his third triple double in the postseason....Warriors and Clippers in the Western Conference Finals would be epic.

Memphis has zero chance to beat the Warriors, even with Conley. They're too slow and not nearly explosive enough on the perimeter to keep up pace.

Bogut on Zach and Draymond on Gasol is something Grizzlies can't seem to figure out.

Gasol had 21/9/3 on 5/10 shooting and Zbo had 20/9/5 on 9/15 shooting. Both guys got everything they wanted to and they still got blown out of the water.

Blake has been so good during this playoff run. I didn't think the Clips had a shot to take down the Warriors, even after the Spurs series, but if he keeps this up and Paul comes back healthy that's going to be a great series. Not going to bet against Golden State though. That defense will travel and they have a stretch every night where they're unstoppable.

Kerr was a bit shy, and every time Green fouled Marc, Bogut immediately got switched back. Gotta stick to what worked before - Bogut only played 24 minutes as a result.

Clippers/Warriors is so intriguing. Both teams despise eachother, there's the series from last year that went to seven games, the CP3/Curry rivalry. Definitely looking forward to it. Should be a good one.

It's 1 game folks. And would really root for the Grizzlies on this.
Not because I don't like the Warriors. But because of the implication of a Warriors win to our cornerstone who is DMC.
If a Z-Bo/Gasol bulldozer front court can't demolish these Warriors team, how would you even convince Vivek to stop using them Warriors to rebuild the Kings?
A Warriors team winning this series against the Grizz could affect the perception of our GSW-drooling-ownership on the usefulness of our own bulldozer named Cousins in the playoffs.

This is why even after the Game 1 blowout I remained unconvinced on MEM/GSW. With Conley back MEM can control tempo, and that's how so many high scoring whiz bang uptempo teams of the past have suddenly been KO'd. The whole series is about tempo. If Memphis controls it, they can beat the Warriors. If the Warriors control it and it turns into a run n gun bombing woohoooooooo! est, they cannot.

If the Grizzlies hang on to win, it'll be despite Marc Gasol largely being a worthless waste of space in crunchtime.

Hey Golden State, hey Splash Bros, this IS NOT routine regular season - this is Grind House Basketball Playoffs. Good Luck cuz you're going to be needing it now.
