[NBA] Comments that Don't Warrant Their Own Thread (Playoffs?)

Wade has hit some very ridiculous shots in these playoffs. That is expected though since he always goes off during the post season.

edit:

He's moving around so quick that his shoes literally can't keep up with him.

LeBron meanwhile has disappeared, someone should tell him it's not an elimination game for his side.

edit2:

Now he showed up for some 3's in the 4th. Celts are done.

That one shot that they had of Jermaine O'Neal and Rondo lying on the sidelines being attended by the training staff is really all you needed to know about this series. When Rondo went down and with the centre rotation they had, Boston never really had a chance. I'm still holding out hope for Chicago, though.

Bulls did sweep the Heat in the regular season, but all the games were close ones. Pulling for the Bulls though. Not a Heat fan at all, even before the "Superfriends" got together.

Gettting way ahead of myself.... But can yall imagine how horribly boring an OKC vs Heat finals would be? It'll just be a FT shootout. I'm pulling for the Grizz right now, and if OKC gets past them in game 7, then I'm all about the Mavs.

Speaking of the Grizz, howbout that Z-Bo? Dude is beasting it like a crazy person.

I'm pulling for Memphis and Dallas in the West. Memphis because of the underdog thing, Dallas because I have always slightly liked them once the Kings started to suck, and they pose the biggest threat to Miami if it comes to that. I never liked OKC because of their owner, nothing against the players though.

Of course I'm pulling for the Bulls to win it all, I can't imagine anything that will make me happier than sweeping Miami again, I would be in such a state of bliss that they could get swept in the Finals and I wouldn't even realize it.

You have to give the Grizz credit, they are far from the most talented team still remianing, but they're easily the grittiest.
I <3 Tony Allen and Sam Young. Other backcourts concern themselves with intricate and complicated things, those two just punch you in the mouth. I would've loved to see what Kobe Bryant would've done against the Grizzlies. My guess is not all that much.

Young players will choke. Be nice if Kings fans took notice of that pattern in these playoffs. It happens. Then if you've got the goods you learn from it and it stops happening.

OKC had 26 turnovers and Durant had 9. But most were forced by intense Mavs D. For me, this series shows that while a superstar (in this case Dirk) can get you far, only great team D can ultimately get you to final round with a chance to win the championship. If Dallas gets there and if they face Miami then question will be can one legit mega-superstar beat two (or basically three).

I find it fascinating how much of a problem James Harden has been for the Mavs. When that guy becomes their starter some time soon, OKC will be very scary.

And then back to back 1-4 flats with Derrick Rose against LeBron to close things out, both just resulting in poor forced jumpers.

Again, don't know how many Kings fans watch the playoffs after we get eliminated, but they have been educational. We are not the only team to see these kinds of failures.

Scott Brooks and Tom Thibodeau both flunked out of the Westphal School of Offense at the most crucial times. Was there some kind of league wide brain wipe that erased the pick & roll concept from head coaches' minds?

The Kings were a bit screwed in the lottery, but the consolation prize has arrived, according to the Lakers' beat writer from the Times: Mike Brown will be agreeing to a 3 year contract to coach the Lakers. (source)

Anyone want to take bets on which of Pau and Mike will Kobe strangle first next season?
