And we kick things off with some new Uncle Drew:
Asterisk necessary for that game though. He did it against the Magic.Hibbert had 16rebs/7blocks last night. Making an [extremely] early case for DPOY...
My keeper league laughed at me when I took Carter-Williams.
MCW was flirting with a quadruple-double. Ended with only a double-double but dang..
No worries, the few of us that wanted to draft MCW in this forum were laughed at a bit too.
It was a PR nightmare. Apparently it was Polish Heritage night and Gortat had arranged for 25 fellow Poles to flay over for the game.... Oooops! In a stunning development, the Phoenix Suns, featuring the starting big man lineup of Channing Frye and Miles Plumlee beat the Blazers 104 to 91. So much for tanking for Wiggins
indeed. MCW was on my short list, and he represented a rare common ground between the two of us...

Watching the Warriors-Clippers game in preparation for the next couple of game threads, being treated to terrible defense that would make even Keith Smart angry. I thought Bogut and Jordan were supposed to make these things impossible.
I wouldn't say the Clips played terrible defense so much as you literally can't give Steph Curry an inch of space. Loved the way CP3 played. It was scary how well composed he was. He racks up assists effortlessly without turning the ball over and picks his scoring opportunities very very well.
The Pelicans are starting to look like the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury, in terms of a being a team whose total is somehow much less than the sum of its parts. There's no way in hell that a team with Anthony Davis, Jrue Holiday, Tyreke Evans and a healthy Eric Gordon should be having their asses handed to them by the Orlando Magic.
There's no question that, individually, all of those guys can play. Do they just need time to gel, is it coaching, or is it something else?
