So funny that Kobe had a terrible shooting night against the Spurs and they won the contest! Why, because he finally realized that he has to pass the ball. Suddenly his teammates became alive.

If Cousins is out for much longer we could be below the Lakers.....

...has anyone seen the promo for the NBA games on ESPN for Tuesday? The first game is GSW vs Memphis and they had the whole splash brothers intro, and a smash intro for Memphis. The second game is OKC vs Sacramento. They had an intro for the scoring KD and Westbrook. For us? We didn't get one..

messed up ESPN!

Say what you will, but it isn't everyday that you get to see someone pass arguably the GOAT and move into 3rd all time on the NBA scoring list. Congrats Kobe, may your work ethic always be an inspiration to young basketball players around the world.

For as much contempt that I have for the entire sport of American rules football, I find it strangely gratifying that Kobe would surpass Jordan on a football Sunday, when ninety percent of the US, outside of Los Angeles, doesn't give a ****.

besides the Kings, the Suns have some of the worst luck I have seen this season...they go down at the buzzer yet again.

What are they going to put Cousins on a hospital bed?

#Jabari Parker out for the season with ACL tear
#Rockets trying to get Dragic (Dragic added them on his facebook/twitter not sure which one the other day)

how about triple overtime...the rims this week are friendly in the NBA. Terrible shot that happened to go in.

It is, simultaneously, both annoying and strangely gratifying, to see that even a team like the Spurs can make the same boneheaded plays, down the stretch of a game, that we do.

second straight game where the Spurs are doing multiple overtime games...and people thought they were a boring team. go figure!

Triple OT? Why not? Quadruple? Could be. Good basketball PLUS it's keeping the Lakers game off my TV screen for a while longer. GO BOTH TEAMS!

The Bulls have played 17 games this season where they've failed to score 49 points in a half. How did they manage to score 49 in the same quarter against Toronto?

Lillard has go to be the most clutch player in the league...I swear I very rarely see him not make big shots for the Blazers.

I know it's still relatively early but Portland looks like very, very dangerous team come playoffs no matter what seed they get. And of course Kings could have drafted Damian Lillard but preferred Thomas Robinson. Ugh!

what do you know...no Kobe no problem for the Lakers. They put up 63 points at the half against a good defensive Warriors team. Maybe getting Wesley Johnson or Ed Davis can be a good get for the Kings for they both can bring something positive to the team but that's beside the point here.
