Speaking of which, shout out to the rookie, Admiral Schofield, who put up 7pts and 5reb in his NBA debut. Schofield is the second-ever NBA player to come out of my high school. Hell, he's the second-ever professional athlete to come out of my high school.
The only other one to do so is the reason why I started following the Kings, in the first place (even though that guy's NBA career began and ended, before my family even moved to town).

They've got a bunch of vet role players (and SGA) and the Wizards are even worse with their second best player after Beal probably being a rookie incapable of doing anything but finishing buckets around the basket.
It took me longer than I should want to admit to realize that SGA stood for Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and not Steven "Gold Tooth" Adams.

do you remember what I told you yesterday about the Wiz? They are just playing loose and with no expectations. Their young guys are getting a lot of minutes and they are free to make mistakes as it comes along. Just so happens this time around, despite Beal shooting like a turd, they won because the Thunder just so happened to be worse than them.

I can't lie, at the beginning, I wasn't intrigued by the drafting of Rui....but now I want to see what the kid got, he's skilled.
Jokic always initiating the offense from behind the three-point line is going to come back to bite him in the ass, eventually. He just has to do too much work to make the offense happen, on every possession.
Suns just forced overtime. Looks like another drug test is coming soon.
Suns went into overtime with three players having five fouls. Two of them fouled out on the Nuggets' first possession.

Lost in all off the Luka love on this board is the fact Trae Young has been every bit as impressive (perhaps more) in his teams first two games.
