Damn, Lillard dropped a fire diss track on Shaq.
James Harden has been hyping up a new offensive move he's been working on only for it to be... this...
Zion/Pelican hype train already unbearable.

Except Walter McCarty. He made him lovable.Tom Heinsohn makes everything terrible.
It came to my attention that Nik Stauskas had a birthday this week. Which, of course, made me think of what may still be the greatest thing ever to come out of this message board:

Personally, as someone who would root for the Celtics against all teams that aren't the Kings, I found it infectious despite in my heart of hearts knowing Walter was a pretty low level player.Well, I remember that he loved Walter, but I don't know how lovable he made Walter.
Zion apparently injured his knee and is going in for further testing.
Not great for an undersized but overweight player who's elite athleticism is what sets him apart as a prospect. It also feels like this is the tenth time he's been injured since being drafted in June.

a knee injury. not a surprise. that was bound to happen considering all that weight on his knees.
Not just the weight but his style of play (all dunking all the time) is a blown ACL waiting to happen.
He wouldn't be the first unicorn big guy to have his legs ruined by playing in Alvin Gentry's system either.
even before Gentry, Davis had injury concerns. I don't think it's the system too much.
That darn reality keeps getting in the way of a good story. Also LOL at the TV execs putting the Pels on opening night expecting to see the NBA debut of the next generational talent only to wind up getting 30 minutes of Derrick Favors and the Lakers' toy chest of damaged prospects instead.
I was talking more about how Gentry playing Boogie 45 minutes a night for a full month permanently ruined one of the most underrated players of the decade's legs. AD has only been in LA for like a month and has already hurt his thumb.
... Or Thibodeau. To be fair, Cousins started having his 'sore achilles' issues while he was still on the Kings. Gentry definitely put the final dagger in that in a way that D'Antoni could only admire.
