I think i'd want somewhat of a middle ground. Because their are some truly dreadful teams that do need the opportunity to draft the franchise changer. But I'd remove the ability to get a top 4 in consecutive years so those teams would just be taken out of the lottery the following season. Tanking for the 5th overall pick is significantly worse than constantly tanking for #1's overall.
In several key areas Buddy is actually putting up very similar numbers so far in Indy vs most of this season in Sac, adjusting for his greater min in Indy. He's shooting the exact same from 3, 36.8%, for example, and rebounding at a similar rate. The big differences are that he's taking a significantly larger share of his shots from 2 vs 3; his overall FG % is significantly higher.
And, per your point, not only is he getting waaaay more assists, but his asst/to ratio is very good - 2.6:1. No idea what that's about, but all credit to him. I imagine Indy's feeling pretty good about the trade.

The Jazz should just make a call to the Salt Lake City Stars, and ask for their worst player at each position, have them suit up for the 4th quarter, and they'd probably still win this game by 30+ points.

Damn, Josh Hart finished last night with a +/- of -51: the Trail Blazers only ("only") lost by 38. I've had Hart on my fantasy squad all year, and I know that he's a decent player, so it looks like Chauncey hung him out to dry.

You always hear that Father Time is undefeated, but I think LeBron may have given him his first L. Dayum.
Denver is struggling against Toronto at home, in a game that they need to win, pretty badly. Especially considering that Minnesota just came back from a 17-point deficit to beat Miami on the road.
Warriors have a fifteen-point lead on the champs, in a game where Curry only has five points! 
This tweet needs to be framed and put in a museum. As a work of art, this is timeless.
