The Rockets are overwhelming in terms of their athleticism and physicality, but they still make some bonehead decisions and struggle to execute in the half court. Case in point - the Nets only had enough time on the clock to win that game because Jalen Green launched a three off Sengun's rebound with under a minute left instead of running the clock.
No Fred is killing them despite his poor shooting the man understands how to play basketball and run the point

fun game between ATL and San Antonio...it took a while for it to get cooking but it didn't disappoint in the end.

also of note, watching Shai foul hunt Harden style is sickening

A much better answer would have been that his role got shifted a bit and then he came up in trade rumors for a year and he just didn't respond the way he should have. Taking some accountability while also acknowledging that he was put in a tough spot. No big, right?

You missed some very, very wide open looks Kev. I liked you, but c'mon now.

Blame, deflect . . .
Yeah it's our fault you can't shoot.

Again, it is fantastic some players (like him) are gone.

That’s funny. James Ham also didn’t think Huerter fit.

Hard to think of any reason why other than he stopped being able to shoot. Otherwise, it seemed he was a perfect fit. The DHO only took a back seat because he stopped making shots.

I think Huerter style is actually of a ball handler and shooter off the dribble. His game isn’t that of constant off ball mover and he jsnt that good of a catch and shoot three point shooter (50 percent for half a season was a fluke) and I think this is what he means.

Maybe of the Bogdan Bogdonovic mold but he doesn’t do that well enough for teams to make that his role. So if he can’t hit open threes that this “poor fit” was constantly getting him this season..then he’s going to have a hard time fitting anywhere

Y the offense was not as high-powered, but it's not like he didn't get plenty of open looks.

He was the one missig all those shots.
He missed shots and he got traded and he's not a king anymore.

But we have a thread in the Kings forum asking if we will get back to being a team that passes the ball or if the ball is just going to remain stuck. And if you look at the advanced stats, the original beam team was 3rd in potential assists but our team this year is 11th.

Not interested in defending him or holding him accountable more interested in what we can do from here.
