The Charlotte Hornets have lost their last 3 games by a combined total of 131 points. That's an average margin of defeat of 43.6 points. How is that even possible?
And before that they beat the Lakers and fought till the 4th quarter at Denver
They have several injuries, (Brandon Miller, Grant Williams, Josh Okogie, Tre Mann, Cody Martin), LaMelo only played against the Kings in those 3 matches, Mark Williams skipped that match and I guess they play for nothing in an Eastern Conference that many teams seem to "tank" lately.

They made history btw in the last 4 matches

Hey one list the Kings aren't on!

Why didn't he roll out to the corner and hit an open 3? Such a waste :D

The occasional reminder that he probably only gets time in Boston because they have two super max players and are nearly 5 million over the second apron.

Avoiding the Fox thread for this but is Castle really the frontrunner for RotY? In Spurs world they act like it is a foregone conclusion. Meanwhile Wells, Edey and Clingan are contributing to winning basketball (if you can ignore the huge hole Portland dug early) and Ware was the golden child a month ago.

I would have liked to get Castle back in the return package for Fox but he seems so far away from being a meaningful contributor while those other 4 guys are either playing for contenders or making sure that their teams are well out of the Flagg sweepstakes.

I was really impressed by Clingan at the last Blazers game I attended and I know the others are generally viewed above him but below Castle.

Just curious where other people are at in the rookie race.

if the race ended today I’d give it to Jaylen Wells. He is starting for a team that is going to win 50 plus games. Plays good defense and shoots nearly 40 percent from 3. Castle is shooting 41 percent from the field and 27 from 3

I think this is where I lean as well and wonder if the separation that exists between them in some people's minds is where they were picked in the draft?

The Magic probably should’ve spent their money on Malik Monk instead of KCP. Not that I’m complaining.
Unless they are your final piece, don't overpay for 3 and D shooting guards. There seemingly hasn't been a one lately that hasn't disappointed once they've got the $$$. Then again, the same can be said for non defensive volume guards too haha.

I'm liking what I'm seeing from Terrence Shannon Jr from the Wolves, big & strong build already for a rookie, athletic. shows good promise. Wolves might of found themselves another Naz Reid gem here with more fine tuning
