NBA All-Star Weekend Thread

I plum forgot about the whole thing. I would have watched last night's festivities if I had remembered. I had the game on tonight, but was doing homework at the same time and didn't hear much of anything compelling enough to get my nose out of the book.

Bah! Screw all you guys; as always, I watched every televised event for All-Star weekend and, as always, I was thoroughly entertained by all of it. "Black Thanksgiving" never fails to deliver for me.

Watching the star point guards like CP3 out there makes you wonder just how good Kevin could be with a good point guard. Hopefully his olympic experiences will let him have a sniff of what it's like to have a good point man...

I'd like to know why Shaq shared the trophy with Kobe. Ok, Kobe scored 27 points to Shaq's 17 points and 5 rebounds. Ummmm, if they were going to share the trophy, CP3 should have shared it having 14 points, 14 assists, 3 steals and 7 rebounds. WTH?

It was obviously more of a reunion thing... But honestly Shaq did play very well and had some awesome plays. You expect the whole passing gig from CP3 but dang Shaq!

You gotta love Shaq. In his interveiw after winning co-most valuable player with Kobe, he said when he saw that Rasheed Lewis was going to guard him, he knew it would be like going to a chicken feist.

Stern called it in. He wanted to give the Suns fans one last chance at feeling meh about their team. Suffering has already let itself in the door over there, tee-he-he. Years of it.

This was for the Guinness Word Record. Billups was even more entertaining.
