I LOVVVVVVVE WALTAAAAAAAA! Who could hate that? Well I couldn't. I loved when he did the Walta thing but that's it. I could barely tolerate him and his unbelievable homerism. He sounds like a drunk fan that complains about every call that goes against them.

Well he's really just a passionate fan. I used to love listening to him when i lived around the Greater Boston area, but he should never have been an annoucer. Heinson is the definition of homerism, being as ahomer myself ofcourse.

For whatever it's worth, Grant said last week, "we could hear something about Bonzi as soon as Friday”. Friday came and went, and nothing.

He did say today the Indy deal wasn't going to happen, or at least the possibility was “low”. :)

Neither could I, it almost made keeping Walter around for so long worthwhile. Tommy isn't as bad as half the former players that get the color spots around the league but he's definitely an acquired taste. At least he has a grasp of the English language and speaks coherently (my biggest pet peeves among former players - amazingly most of these guys also came from the days before coming out as an underclassman or high schooler).

Tommy Heinsohn. I thought you were a Celts fan before the Kings came to town??? I mean he's only a hall of famer and former coach of the team. :)
I know, and that's why it always amazes me that I can never remember his name. His voice, however, I can recognize in one syllable...

I was joking.. I forgot the "roll eyes" lol.

Napear always comes up with the lamest jokes when he tried to put someone down.

Grant: "cya moron!!! You need to take the $.99 cents your...your....your life is worth and call.....you need to take that money to the dollar store and buy a clue.....oh man that guy was a moron, he makes Stanley look like a genius."
Oh, okay...

Whew.

yeah, I'll give Tommy the benefit of at least knowing err...somewhat proper English....at least he's not Walt Frazier...'Oh boy, Sprewell with tne oscillation and determination, percalating to the basket.':D....'L.J. makin' the L.J. sign!':D

Frazier is ridiculous. Painfully distracting when he's the local guy.

Frazier makes you need to have a dictionary next to you to understand what he said

The other board I post on has this rumor plastered all over. It has a main forum and sub forums and I swear the 8 team trade is posted on almost every signle sub forum including the main one.

It's in several different places around here, too, SacKings384. And, unfortunately, people who haven't been on the board in a day or two or don't know their way around, keep reposting it.

all this waiting around is like listening to mike lamb and his dramatic pause - or maybe his brain is slower than his mouth.

because.....i submit to you.... it's astonishing....that....it's analogous.... (deep nasal breathing, mixed with a lispe)

how does mike get a tv gig on comcast and a radio job. he's a stiff and just hard to listen to when he's by himself.

Nothing new today… They talked to Dan Quayle and had a conversation revolving around Maury Povich... I kid you not. After that I'm not sure what else was said because I was talking to my passenger about work related stuff.

You foks try filling 10 hours of air time a week espcially in the off season. BS is NECESSARY for Grants survival. would you prefer 1.5 hrs of silence?

The problem comes when people BELIVE him.

I'm guessing you think "Yes" is the wrong answer?

OMG! Lamb drives me nuts with that and his dramatic use of the word "BUT"..... Like he'll say something like "The Kings need Bonzi......B U T....does Bonzi need the Kings?"

I know Lamb reads this board, so don't take it personal Mike. You're ok in my book.

It's funny that people are complaining about them, but they can give specific reasons why. When I don't like a show, I don't listen. They must be doing something to keep you listening at times.

It seems like most people listen to it because they want to hear Kings/NBA news and KHTK is pretty much the only game in town, they would have the news first. That's what they're doing, continuing to be the only sports radio station in town. As long as they don't start up a second station and then sell it to a media rival then they're in good shape and guys like Lamb, Kozimor and Charmichael Dave will still have jobs and Big Red can run his leafblower of a mouth unchallenged.
