From another subject thread, here is part of HoopMatron's post:
The movie (from 1989) is called "Perfect Profile".
I haven't seen it either, but I was intrigued about that movie. And I have always wanted to get the film.
Then I went to the Internet Movie Database, and after the reading the customer's reviews, I had the distinct impression that her screen time was mostly footage of her playing hoops in a game, but not really "acting" with her co-stars performers in other (non-basketball) scenes.
But I still would like to order a copy of that movie, if only that it might serve as a campy cheesy material to pass the time! It might be good for a laugh.
After checking the IMDB.com, I love what the box cover says in describing the movie: "Basketball's sexiest pro plays with passion...on and off the court"! I have to laugh at that one!
Check out the second customer reviewer (nicknamed "Zantara Xenophobe") from the following webpage:

It's probably the kind of low-budget stinker that the characters in "Mystery Science Theater 3000" would have lampooned!
It is no suprise that this is one video that you are not going to order through Nancy's website!
A search on Ebay reveals that a VHS copy of "Perfect Profile" can be bought for as low as $1.99. That sounds about right!
AN IDEA: Let's all invite Anna DeForge to a screening! I don't know if she will laugh, or cry, or squirm!
...A few years ago, I found out that Nancy Lieberman had starred in a movie, about a woman basketball player who joined a men's team and lead it to the league championship. I was determined to get a copy of that. As you can imagine, this is not something you can jump on Netflix and put on your list. But with perserverance, and the help of a friend, I managed to obtain a copy. Let's just say it was not Academy Award material and let it go at that (although... now that I think about it, if there is ever need for filler at a Monarchs viewing party, this might provide some comic relief)...[snip]
