Bonus Query:
Do you think a team with a Pierce/KMart/Bynum core would be good enough to
make the playoffs in the West?

Bonus Q:
Yes, I think it should be possible for a team starting those players to make the playoffs. Granted they have a bench with a few reliable scores and defenders who don't get blown away.

Good comparisons.. and hopefully our players end playing as good as those guys have.

The numbers are similar, but Paul Pierce's leadership qualities are at a place that Evans will never reach. Not to mention that he is extremely clutch .. a place where Evans is very hit or miss. And I'll take a player who gets hit points via the jumper and drive then just drive.

And Bynum is the kind of defender Dalembert is while producing on offense like Demarcus. Clearly an area where Cousins needs to improve.

Kmart vs. Thornton is a push IMO. I'd take Thornton over him any day, but I can see why someone would have a different opinion on that.

I feel pike saying something about putting up numbers on a bad team, but screw it yay Kings. Though to be honest, I'd take kmart over this year's Thornton. Hate to say it but Marcus is a worse player now than he was last year. Think it has largely to do with the now-established mentality of being our leading scorer.

To be fait it took Pierce a long long time to get there (leadership not the jumper) some say not until KG and Allen arrived but you probably have a closer look at him down there in Massachusetts.
