my kings experience

well, i don't know if this is the right place for this but i just wanna share my kings game experience.

this is my 3rd time watching them. it's the first time they actually won.

lost of stuff went on. i'll share details later.

I AM JUST SO HAPPY!

1) i finally got to "talk" to mike. plus got to high 5 him, too.
2) met some wonderful people who would probably want to remain anonymous. thank you guys so much!
3) i got lots of signatures plus took lots of pictures!

i'll share details tomorrow.

funny thing. 2 people recognized me for being royalty of the week sometime in december. me wearing the crown for the picture in ROTW and at the game probably gave it away but it's cool that people recognize.

plus during the pregame, some guy even pointed me out to grant napear and they both looked at me waving my sign.

and yeahm i can't believe mike came up! he was only there for a short time, though, that's why i didn't get to take a picture with him. but it was cool

it was such a good experience.

i got lots of signatures from kings players! lots of high fives, too!

Glad you enjoyed yourself...Mike is a very peculiar individual, to say the least, but an overall nice guy, glad to see you got to meet him and Cisco, among others.

Pregame, I watched as Ron Artest, Bonzi Wells, and Kenny Thomas warmed up.

I got to high5 Artest thrice lol. everytime he went in and out of the tunnel I high5ed him.

I got an autograph from Bonzi Wells after he warmed up. While he was signing, I told him "Welcome back Bonzi!" and he said "Thank you!"

Also got a signature from Kenny Thomas after he warmed up.

Said “hi” to Pete Carril haha. He asked “how are you?” So I said "I’m fine." I was just speechless lol.

Met several kings fans who said “hi” + noticed me when I was the royalty of the week. I found that really cool. Someone from the Kings even came up to me and asked me if I was the one in Kings.com. He told me he read the whole thing. That was nice.

Someone also pointed me out to Grant Napear. And then they both looked at me while I was holding up my sign.

Took pictures lots of pics during the whole team's pregame warmups.

Said “hi” to Corliss Williamson while he was going out of the tunnel and he looked


Mike read the back of my sign “I [heart] Mike! Can I have your headband?” Since I was looking at him while he was reading it, he looked at me and touched his head and made this gesture as if to say “I don’t have a headband.” So that sucks for me haha but I was so happy thathe actually read it and even responded to it.


Got to high5 lots of kings when the game ended. I got to high5 BIBBY! I seriously don’t remember who else I got to high5 because all I can think about is high5ing Mike! Yay! I got to high 5 bonzi, shareef, and kevin, among others, I think.

After the game:
Went to section 114 to wait for players who would come up after the game. Security asked for passes so I asked cisco’s step bro if he has extra passes. They didn’t have any but they explained that the guy (cisco’s step dad) was the father of Garcia so they let them stay. They also said we (me and my bro) were with them, so we got to stay also.

Garcia came out. I got a sign on my kings calendar + a picture with him. I took a picture of him and my bro also. His dad was so nice. He was telling Garcia to take pics with us =D

Got signatures from Jason Hart, Jamal Sampson, Ronnie Price, Kevin Martin

Asked shareef abdur-rahim for a signature he said “Later. I’ll give you one before I leave.” Well, he never did, but it’s ok. He forgot, it happens. While he was leaving, I didn't want to bother him going down because they were about to leave and he was probably rushing.

Bibby came out I was ECSTATIC!

He was signing lots of stuff so I came in and asked him to sign my bibby jersey. While he was signing I told him:
Me: You didn’t have your headband today.
Mike: yeah, I know.. (not in a rude way, obviously. I guess you get how you said it. He was nice.)

My bro also let him sign his page on my kings calendar.

He was there for only a short period of time so I didn't get to take a picture with him but at least I got 2 things signed!

Met 2 of a King's relatives. They were SUPER nice! Without them, I wouldn't have been able to wait for the kings after the game because for some reason you need "family passes" to stay? They just told security that they were relatives of (insert player's name here) and they were nice enough to say that me and my brother were with them. We actually sat next to them during the game. It was really great. Well, anyway, I never had that problem (needing passes) in the philly or pacers game or even the 2 other Kings games I went to. That was... odd. Hopefully it's not like that next year.

It was such a great experience!

Forlorn, Mike didn't "come up to me." He just came up where "family and friends", I suppose, were waiting for players. Fortunately for me, Mike came up and I even got autographs.

Circa, yeah Mike's peculiar. his pregame "rituals" always crack me up. He always attempts weird looking layups. Then last night, he was balancing the ball on the back of his neck. Nice to see him having fun, though.

BLNINJA, yeah, I know. Security was a pain. There were lots of empty seats in my section toward the end of the game.

KingKong, YES! Bibby put on a show. Like I said in another thread (?), I think he has always been the Kings leading scorer when they play at NJ. The only difference this time is he destroyed the nets + we got a win!

my seat was under the basket so i could only focus on 1 side of the court. i was just lucky that mike was on that side for a long time. It was hard to take pics, too, cause everyone was moving.
