My Kings experience (last nights game, + pics)

Kings game pics - up close and personal

I went to the kings and twolves game last night...let me tell you, it was a GREAT game...it was close all game....when the shotclocks went out, the kings went out...it was a total KILLER.....i truly believe thats why we lost the game...it was a 2 point game when the shot clocks went out....after the 7 minute delay, the twolves just went off...as promised, here are the pictures...at kings games, your allowed to go courtside for the pregame warmups (not the official ones, right before the game, but the ones where only the players that want to come out and shoot around)

^^ is it like that in every arena? would anyone know if it's like that with the nets? by "courtside," you mean the front row seats, right?

and uhh i don't see the pics.. :(

WOW LeeMR2, your seat was awesome! I was setting at Section 315 Row 12 which's the last row...lol :o

Yah nice to see those pics,,, I can't wait untill January 5th this year when Kings play the Raptors! I live near Toronto and only get too see the Kings play once a year, (Usually my B-Day Present), I picked up really good tickets, 15 seats from the court for only 70 $ Canadian, I'll bring my Camera to that game and post pics then too! Oh I can't Wait!!! :D
 
thanks for the pix everyone!!!! as soon as i get my butt up to arco this year, i'll take some coolio pics and post them. i'm in discussions of a road trip down to LALA land ( only the clips, hey who cares. representing kings on the road would be FUN!) if that goes down i'll take a ton of pics and post em :)

Thanks everyone. It was a great game to go to, and with Shaq gone, tix are much cheaper than they were last year. I remember paying 90 bucks for uppers last year for Lakers vs Kings at Staples, when the Kings got blown out. This game was by far much better, and cheaper.

oh, I think the whole 'shot clock' thing might have been a decent excuse, but it didnt seem to effect the Wolves. They shot more than ok. I think if our team finally stops making excuses, and 'lives in the moment', to quote a line from Phil Jackson, this team would be alot better off.

In all fairness, the players aren't the ones commenting on the clock problem. For the most part, it's been fans who - knowing how much momentum AND Arco Thunder can contribute to a come-from-behind win - are upset about the situation.

I have seen far too many games where the Kings won in the last couple of minutes BECAUSE of the crowd involvement to doubt the influence the 7-minute delay had on the game.

Yes, the team still has a lot of work to do, but that game was winnable at the end. When the crowd sat for that long, they lost their fervor and the Kings lost the power of Arco Thunder. Combine that with the way the Wolves kept the crowd out of it at the end once play finally resumed, and I think you have a pretty good idea of how much the stoppage affected the outcome of the game.
