Monta Ellis?

My question is do you think tyreke monta and cousins could be a good trio. Mainly would tyreke and monta mesh. Monta is explosive and a pretty good shooter, cetrainly would improve both evans and cousins assist numbers.

what would we have to give up, i know most of you would certainly not give up that draft pick, but maybe JT? Greene? casspi? maybe a combo of two of those three? or maybe JT+our pick plus monte and their pick?

It's my understanding that Ellis is the most untouchable player the Warriors have. So you'd probably have to give up Tyreke and this year's first round pick to even begin conversations with the Warriors to acquire Ellis. They would probably want to throw in Biendrins for Cousins to make it work.

It seems that Curry would be easier to acquire if you're looking for a GS guard. With how the fanbase have polarized these two players I'm not certain if they'd be able to play together well, and it's funny because some on this forum would trade Tyreke for Curry right now if they had the chance.

Curry's fine and I'd take him over Beno, but he's always going to be a liability on the defensive end, especially when you get to the playoffs and things get really physical.

it jus seems like a lil while ago they were ready to dump ellis cuz of curry, and i think they even tried to trade him for oj mayo. Now, would u trade say a no.5 draft pick for monta straight up and do you think he would mesh with reke and cousins

don't think he would work out w/ our current cast. hes pretty ball dominant and needs touches

A little while ago was before new ownership and new management took over. Since then, the Warriors have stated that Ellis is the most untouchable player on the team, and they would laugh at the idea of trading him straight up of either a draft pick, or god forbid O.J. Mayo.

Monta loves the new ownership, and the fact they went out and got David Lee. The ownership has stated publicly many times he's untouchable. I believe them, because in the same interview the caused an uproar by saying they would move Curry for the right price.

Rumblings are that the Warriors definitely want to unload Ellis. Warriors also want a 3 from what I hear.

Goodness, let's just trade away our remaining front court players and play a 5 guard lineup. When is this going to stop? Ellis is a pretty good player, but he doesn't fit with this team at all.

Makes no sense. Thornton is a similar type of player that can be signed much cheaper. And he won't cost one of the Kings good players in trade.
