Joerger impresses as somebody who is going to be more concerned that we gave up 25 on 50% shooting that quarter than that we scored 42 on 78% shooting.

If Lawson gets the starting job, it'll be more about fit on the floor than anything. Lawson doesn't provide scoring for the 2nd unit. I feel like Lawson is a gigantic liability on defense, and maybe DC's scoring off the bench wouldn't be enough to offset that.

I think he is a better playmaker than Collison in terms of penetrating and finding open shooters or bigs. If his quickness is at or near Denver level he would be a good piece to put with the second unit to create offense.

Yes. I think if kings get off to a solid start, Lawson could remain the starter.

I personally think Lawson will win the starting point guard spot.

I think Lawson's game is more suited to start than to come off the bench, while D.C. Would be effective either starting or coming off the bench.

Lawson's defense is not that bad. He is undersisized, but he seems to try and be a disrupter.

He is at least better than rondo was on defense last year.

Sure, always been a possibility. Collison is pretty used to a 6th man role, and Lawson is a career starter before the debacle last year.

This is obviously not a test, but before the kiddie related debacles, were seeing some of this in the first two games too:

w/ Cousins +23 in 12 min
w/o Cousins -1 in 7min

which is perfectly fine. That, as I've said, is all you need to be a good team. Play teams even while the star is out. Thrash them when he's on.

I feel like if you demote Gay to the bench, he's definitely 100% gone next season.
