Mock draft 2026

One of these teams is ridiculously deep and the other team is pretty much just Caleb Wilson and Veesaar

If nothing else, seeing Cam's height next to Wilson has convinced me that he's *not* going to be undersized for the PF.

Caleb's jumper looks real.

Gotta love Boozer's offense, but Veesaar is eating him alive and in general I'm not seeing the defensive side he's claimed to have.

Wondering if the Kings somehow manage 1st overall pick, with the draft fairly stronger and deeper their willingness to trrade down for to a team who really wants 1st pick for additional 1st round picks and possibly 2nds in subsequent years or within a 3 or 4 player draft swap.

Unless that’s only a drop to 3,4, or 5, I wouldn’t do it. Not with the talent at the top of this class.

The Tar Heels are fun because everyone do their games is Caleb and Veesaar being awesome while surrounded by some of the worst guard play you’ve seen in your life.

Also Cam just sorta choking away a bunch of possessions in crunch time not really the best look for him on national TV

This isn’t he NFL

One of the fun parts of being a curmudgeon is that you get to say things like "I think if your fans storm the court and there's time left on the clock, that should be a forfeit" and you get to actually mean them.

The last time the Kings did something similar in 2017 with Scott Perry as AGM, we traded #10 for #15 (Justin Jackson) and #20 (Harry Giles). Oh, Donovan Mitchell and Bam Adebayo went at #13 and #14.

EDIT: While Vlade was the GM, Scott was the VP of basketball operations

That was Vlade and he did a similar bone head thing the year before 2016. Without looking it up he traded like the 9th pick for two later picks, and also traded Marco Bani….italia guy for another first. That trade at first I thought brilliant but none of those 3 first panned out. So yeah, not interested at all in trading down.
