I still think, of all the players available this year, Marko Jaric is the one that fits this team the best. He'd be a playmaker at the SG spot like Doug often was which frees up Mike a bit more from running endless pick and rolls, and he's a pretty good defender and averaged a respectable 1.7 steals per game this season. My thinking is that he could establish some pretty good chemistry with Peja. If we can't get Jaric though, I think the idea of Evans starting at SG is what appeals to me most.

I have been a pretty big fan of Jaric but one of the big downsides is that he is injury prone and he has inconsistent shot. Some days he will g our and shoot a pretty good percentage, the next day he would miss all of his shots.

He would give us size, explosiveness, some defence, steals and assists from SG position but the real question is can he play anywhere near 82 games. Going by his history the answer is no.

He is a very good team player and someone I think would benefit in our system. Marko is poor man's Doug Christie. I think it would be reasonable to expect 12 ppg, 3-4 rpg, 5 apg and a couple of steal. I do think that he would cost MLE and I think La Clippers would match that offer for him.
