That seems like good news.Jose said:Update on the radio today was that it was a cut and a mild concussion. He may or may not play on Saturday - he's a game-time decision right now.
If Boozer or Snider had grabed and held Mo I'd agree, but to go up high when you have no ply on the ball and it is prety much too late for your team any way is not good D it is reckless and dangerous. I DONT wnat to see our guys play like that.Folsom Al said:We all know that The Jazz defensive style are "hard-fouls and in-your-face".
It's all Jerry Sloan and it's all good basketball ... it's unfortunate how the play turned-out. I'm sure we'd all like to see our King's play with that kind of defense from time-to-time ... no easy buckets !!!
Im not sure Booser was going for a block on the ball, don't think he had that playhis right hand was up but his left was across Evans ches and he simply threw Evans down. I honestly don't think ment to hurt him, but it was an unnecessarly dangerous play.Folsom Al said:No arguement here ....
I'm all for good DEFENSIVE-HARD basketball .... even the so-called FLAGRANT FOUL calls are hit-n-miss at times.
But, to put or place someone else in harms-way where it can not only damage one's career, but also handicap them for life .... that's another thing.
Did you hear that Boozer went over to the King's locker room after the game and checked on Mo ????
As, intense and as pumped-up as these guys get ... it doesn't surprise me that these things happpen. I really don't think Boozer intentionally tried to hurt Mo ... although I do believe he made the decision to go after the ball with full force not really knowing that Mo was in a VERY VULNERABLE position.
Dude how can you have a list of thugs with Utha and Dallas connections ans NOT have Raja Bell on it?quick dog said:The shot had already been blocked by the time Boozer slammed Evans to the floor with his right arm. I am certain that Sloan instructs his guys to foul that hard. Not even Shack woould have done that.
Interesting point. Wasn't that Boozer play pretty similar to the Artest foul on Ben Wallace that provoked the riot in Little Fallujah? A late and rough foul. Main difference was that Wallace was never in danger of being seriously hurt.
Boozer is now on my list with Sloan, Malone, Harpring, Madsen, and Najera.
How can you miss Danny Foston on the list!quick dog said:Boozer is now on my list with Sloan, Malone, Harpring, Madsen, and Najera.
iheartBrad said:all i care about is that Boozer went to the kings locker room after the game to check on Mo
that shows he has a heart...that he doesn't knock someone flat on their back and not think twice about it....and i dunno if its cuz im a girl or what but thats the only good news in this whole thread
accidents happen...i don't blame Booz...and id bet Mo isn't holding it against him either
its over and done with and lets all just hope that Mo recovers quickly and well enough to play
