With the logjam at SG, the only way I see Malachi getting significant minutes is at SF, and depending on what we do in the draft, and if Bog's comes over, there may not be many minutes there either. Damm shame he got injured. But it is what it is, and as you said, he may be the odd man out. Which automatically makes him him trade bait. Just don't know what his value around the league is. I expect there will be a lot of action on draft night.

By the way, for those looking forward to summer league. I was listening to the James Hamm and Aaron Bruski podcast today and Bogdanovic's name came up. Hamm said that if Bog's comes over, he will not be playing in summer league. The reason is that he's still, or was still playing, and he needs some time off between now and the beginning of next season. Unfortunately summer league comes too soon on the heels of the championship game.

I much prefer a Jeff Teague.. Who IMO is much more likely to land with the highest bidder.

Unfortunately the Net's are very interested in him, and have been over there scouting him more than any other team. The Net's also have a ton of capspace, and when they want something, they usually over bid for it. Don't think the Jazz have the space to compete, nor should they. I don't have a problem with the Kings making an offer, but I don't want them to overpay. I think a three year contract at a reasonable price, with a team option on the third year would be acceptable. Or perhaps a buyout option on the third year.

If the price is right ya won't hear me complaining, I'm all about risk/reward, I wouldn't worry about the years with him either, his game should age well. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the Serbian team last Olympics, It sucks they didn't have Bjelica from the Timberwolves on the squad he'd have really helped them.

Teodosic is more than good enough to play in the NBA.

The Nets need all the help they can get, It's all hands on deck time for them, the Kings are in a much better position. Brooklyn, once again, doesn't own their draftpick in 2018 so to avoid further embarrassment paying Teodosic to add a different look into their core of tough/strong/physical guards could really give them the spark they need. Creating a culture of sucessful international transitions could be quite beneficial for them moving forward, they also have the advantage of being in NYC, the most diverse city on the planet, despite their many follies they're far from a small-market.

I agree with you! Just because we have cap space, it does not mean we should be giving Milos 15mpy. That's insanely absurd for him. I don't see any team lining up to pay him that much. Also, there's a lot of unathletic passing PGs that have done only ok in the NBA.. Jose Calderon, Grevis Vasquez, Kendall Marshall, and Pablo Prigioni. Teodosic might be one of the best players in Europe, but he probably wouldn't be a starter for any competitive teams in the NBA.

However, if we sign Teodosic to lure Bogdanovic, that, I'm ok with at 15mpy...as long as it's 1 year...
 
The biggest price for Teodosić i've seen so far is about 10m, from Miami. And that was only a rumour... I believe his offers should be around 8 to 10m (not more than 10) from couple NBA teams and he would make a decision based on team ambitions, his potential role, and some others.

Milos said in the media last year that he would like to play for the Spurs or Jazz (I will have to look it up to find the publication).
Right now he's mentioned as being targeted by the Bulls.

Yeah. Lots of users suggested that the Nets would have no problem giving Teodosic lots of money. Before the Russell trade, I don't think they would've given Teodosic a lot of money anyways. They're rebuilding. Adding an expensive old PG does them no good.

Don't see any reason for the Nets to pursue him now.
