I have read that he hurt his leg on that missed dunk the other night:rolleyes:. As far as i remember he continued to play on that night without any visible discomfort. Strange to me at least.

Have you never woken up having something hurt that hurt little or not at all the day before?

I was in a mild car accident. Somebody rear-ended me at a very slow speed. No car damage. I thought I was absolutely fine, uninjured.....until I woke up the next morning and discovered I had whiplash and could hardly move my head around. Zero pain the first day...big time yowch the next. Another time a guy hit me hard and I didn't really feel the pain of the broken/bruised ribs for two days and then it hurt like heck to breathe for a couple of weeks, at least.

It happens.

Okay, here's the deal.

With Miller sitting out, Spencer Hawes is getting good minutes WHICH IS EXACTLY what people have wanted.

I'd like to see Artest sit out the rest of the season, too, as the best game I've seen recently was with him in street clothes.

How about a little bit of perspective and reason here?

Several months ago I tore the rotator cuff in my left shoulder, and have been recovering ever since. The funny thing is that I didn't even notice for sure when it happened. Not only couldn't I tell you what minute it happened, I couldn't even tell you what week, it really didn't bother me at the time. A few months later, I was in extreme pain, and my left arm was completely worthless. I've been taking care of it, doing exercises, and taking medicine for it since November, and in another few months it should be good as new.

If a fairly painless injury could keep me out of action for over 6 months, I don't have any problem with seeing how Brad might have done something, unnoticed at the time, that would keep him out for a few games.

He got hurt. Move on.

I'm an Artest fan but he has had hella injuries this year too, the whole team has, not all of them are apparent at the time. If Brad+the team says he's hurt that's good enough for me. But when Artest says he's hurt you make "excuses" for him but now it's bad the team is making "excuses" for Brad? Give me a break dude. It's obvious you hate the guy.

Besides, who cares if he sits? I mean we aren't making the playoffs dude. It opens up minutes for our 2 young bigs and really it opens up minutes for Shelden, because he becomes the 3rd big man. Last time was really the 1st time he's been able to show something and he did it. So don't complain about it dude, Shelden and Spencer need the experience.

It would be one thing to say we are sitting the starters but they claim he is hurt.

So what? He still has, from what I heard recently, a bruised tailbone that won't fully heal until he's done playing for the year. He's also got elbow problems as evidenced by the presence of ice bags during breaks when he is playing.

Regardless of WHY he's sitting out, Spencer Hawes is getting the benefit. And that's good for the future of the team.

Yes, Ron keeps having troubles recently with nagging injuries and I wish to heck he would just bench himself. There is zero points, brownie or otherwise, for playing injured right now.

Brad's injury could be legit, or it could not. Its like knee tendinitis, could be a problem but could be just an excuse, not by him, but by us. And if it is? Good. This is for the best either way. If Brad is out then then Spenser and Sheldon don't get the minutes. So I am not concerned whether its a real problem or not.

Break him back out for the final Lakers game if he's good to go, otherwise, let the kids work the stretch here.

I have not been on Ron's case too much about his oft-times ballhogging, like some here.....up until last night. That was a debacle to sit through, and Reggie should have benched his ***. Took all the wind out of the sails of the offense as it ground to a screeching 1-on-1 halt. Glad Amick recognized it too and called him out in the Bee, although Reggie did not, but then again, Reggie let him play, so calling him out would have been indicting his own poor perfomance as a coach last night.

And RonRon will never take himself out of a game much less sit on the bench and let the kids get some time and experience. His ego won't let him IMHO and from what I've seen and heard. His e , and you have to love him for it even if it drives us nuts at this point of the season, is what the Kings have needed. If Theus can control him for the betterment of the team, the Kings will be in the playoffs next year. How far they go depends on RonRon making others on the team better and not trying to take over and dribble thru triple-teams.

Beno will be back for the Warriors and Brad may or may not be. No sense for him to further any injury no matter how small at this point.

How hypocritical can you be? How many blogs have you written questioning the injuries Artest suffered? Why is it that when Miller is injured, it is from "what you have heard"?...........and when Artest is injured it is  ?Why have you not yet written a blog questioning the injuries to Miller? You can go on and on about the timing of injuries in question but the bottom line is that as a moderator of a busy Kings board you should be more objective.

Eh you have some good points and exaggerated points, but this post will get deleted probably because calling someone out as a poster is against the rules also I think.

Why? For the simple reason I haven't heard anything about Artest's "injuries," especially the ones where no one - not even Artest - seems to know about them until just before game time.

If you don't like what I write, I won't let my feelings get hurt if you simply skip over my posts...
