I cannot believe that people still think you can blame the training staff for injuries.

Stuff happens. And sometimes the worst stuff happens at the worst possible time. That's called Murphy's Law. It's not called "Trainer's Law"...and for good reason.

Do they stretch? I don't think stretching prevents broken bones.

If you want to question the training staff, feel free. While you're at it, question the guys who refill the toilet paper holders in the bathroom because they're just as responsible as the trainers.

Does Murphy's law says worst thing happen every year??? Also, stretching might not stop a bone from being broken, but it does help overall. What I like to question is hamstring problem, back problem, ligament injuries. These guys are professional athlete like any other players on other team. Just how is it that only we suffered these injuries in bulk? They either dont take care of their body with the right conditioning or pure bad luck and i dont believe in bad luck lasting this long.

he can focus on hunting now

Kings can start thinking about fishing

Skinner will step up... I'm not too worried about the regular season. Hope Brad could come back in the playoffs, with Bobby!

Step up - where? Is he going to average tripple double ? He is already playing as well as he can

You should be worried about regular season because it is not over yet

2 players who have not played in 2 months will be liability. Our margin for error is already almost equal to 0.

1) light shooting drills???

2) you know, this happens with Brad EVERY year and its becoming a real concern -- third or fourth straight year where he's had an All-Star caliber first half of the year, and then just physically falls apart down the stretch into the playoffs. Hurt Indy, now its hurting us. He's like the Steve Nash of centers.

3) If Brain Skinner keeps on playing the way he has been, we will actually be ok. Better on defense actually. But the great passing/high post offense is probably done. Lots of pressure on Bibby to keep the offense rolling.

4) Minor issue, but on the bright side this avoids what could have become a distracting minutes crunch -- if our frontcourt was ever healthy we had too many bodies to get everybody consistent minutes (kind of like '03). But we're the Kings, we have a unique way of solving the not enough minutes dilemma.

5) Not-so-minor-issue -- Any of you who have ever had a broken bone know what that limb looks like when it comes out of the cast -- shriveled and weak and the muscles have atrophied. We have to really really hope for the 4 weeks if he's going to rehab it and be ready to help in the playoffs.

Miller jumped to shoot the ball only to trip over Peja who was on the ground searching for his cajones!

LOL :D

I have officially given up now. I will watch games only to enjoy the games. There is a God, and he hates Sacramento.

A few weeks ago alot of us were ready to cash in the season when Webber got traded, then we saw what our new guys could do,and were quite happy with there play,MILLER will be missed badly, but we deal with the hand we are being dealt,i thinkwe'll be ok if PEJA "SHOWS UP".

Judging by the Kings' schedule (assuming Miller only misses a month), looks like the Kings will most likely fall into the 7th spot. Who thinks this team can take out Phx or SA with a short amount of time for Miller to get his legs back?

Dude, you act like the Kings training staff is a bunch of uneducated babboons throwing feces at each other and laughing insanely while players crumple to the floor around them.

Do you REALLY believe the Maloofs would put their million dollar players into the hands of doofi?

Quite frankly, the cosmos doesn't care if you believe in bad luck or not. What happens, happens.

And for the record, Murphy's Law states: Whatever can go wrong will go wrong. The First Correlary to the rule is: Whatever can go wrong will go wrong at the worst possible moment.

There's a whole book about it. And it's hugely popular. The reason it's hugely popular is because so many people understand it because it's happened to them.

I'm sorry, but I'm not about to believe the "inept training staff" theory. Trainers on virtually all the teams handle those teams in the same way.

I am with Brick on this one. We're one Cuttino Mobly injury away from having a great defensive team.

Relax, I am joking, and I love Brad almost as much as I love Mike (there can be no greater compliment).

This is horrible news. This is an absolute disaster for us, I can't believe it. My stomach turned reading the news on Yahoo Sports just a minute ago. I feel so bad for Brad and the rest of the team. What do we have to do to get through a season with ligaments snapping and bones cracking all over the place?

What the BLEEP is going on here!

::shakes fist a sky::

I can't believe this. What god awful act did we commit that we have to suffer such misfortunes every single bleeping year one after another? WHY? What is our curse, because no logic can possible explain all of this.

^you can always tell when people hear bad news for the first time

Yes, go back and read your first reaction. :p

Let me quote you, "geez this blows a big fattie."

Com'n Gang ....

All about match-ups and knowing your opponent, and a game-at-a-time .... Adelman's style.

He'll come up with some defensive strategy ....

RATZ !!! 4-6 weeks .... crap .... I know, I already said that ... still bummed.

But, I have a sneakin' suspicion our King's will be okay ... they always somehow-manage to find a way to keep on going and making due with what they've got.
