Mickeal Pietrus?

Why don't the Kings go after him? Raptors are reportedly going after him and we could use a guy like him. Plays solid defense at the SF position and can make open threes.

Somebody tell Geoff to do something.

Wouldn't mind having him. I think our owners are too cheap to have 15 people though.

thought about that myself. Problem is he's another guy who can't shoot so while a JJ/Pietrus SF tandem would get after it defensively, he's kind of duplicative. Still wouldn't mind having though. In Pietrus, out Outlaw or some such.

Sadly, with his 35.7% lifetime 3pt percentage, he'd be one of the better shooters on our team.

Pietrus was pretty bad last year in Boston.

From what I've seen out of JJ and Pietrus, I think JJ is a much better defender with more upside, and I just don't see the need for both of them, especially with Salmons and Garcia still on the roster.

Pietrus would be a big improvement over the outside shooting of either Tyreke or Johnson. And he plays good D and doesn't need the ball. He would definitely be a good addition.

Whatever moves the kings make i think this team needs to trade 2 of the current rotation players for 1 player that has a skill of need. Shortens the rotation and balances the offense.

Upgrade? Sure. He's more experienced and shoots better than JJ, and will need the ball less than Salmons. But sort of like the Brooks move, just create an even worse logjam of 8th/9th-level rotation players.
And I hate to give Smart more pieces and mess with playing time any more.

If it's a logjam that's really the problem, you can just give away some of the logjam players. Problem solved.
