You know, I dislike high scoring game as a matter of principle, and this takes the cake... And how the hell do you score a hundred and thirty points and lose by twenty-five? That's ****ing unprecedented.

First exclamation I blurted out after seeing that score:

"How pathetic..."

Big Daddy Dave's rule changes to increase scoring are chuggin along.

I watched a lot of that game, and I don't think the rule changes had very much to do with the final score. Two things contributed: 1) The Warriors can't rebound and they can't play transition defense, and 2) the Suns can't play defense without fouling.

Why am I watching a Bulls home game where the Bulls are in green and the Celtics are in white? This is annoying the **** out of me.

Why am I watching a Bulls game?

It was misleading. Somehow, somehow Doc decided to play a 5 guard lineup down the stretch. Rondo, Marbury, Allen, House, Pierce (okay, he's a SF but could just as well be SG) Why did Miller play so well in the fourth? He was the beneficiary of rebounding over guards, and HORRIBLE rotation by the Cs. It's like they lost all defensive intensity and knowledge, and played horrible down the strech. House and Pierce kept them in this. They are not the same team from the beginning of the season.

By the way, anybody else think Vinny looks absolutely terrified and lost whenever he tries to shout directions off the bench? His eyes look like he sees a naked Oprah wherever he looks.

kinda but he probably couldve won a couple of the close ones for us....

Yeah! Thank God we got rid of him when we did. I don't want another 12 - 15 pick.

It wasn't about wins. It was about the level of player and his contract. I like Noc, but Salmons is better than him in almost every category and came cheaper.

Umm, it is always about wins.
I'm saying that I wasn't lamenting the loss of Salmons because I thought he would bring more wins this season. Read the responses to that with people saying the team would have a lower pick this season and be in the 20 win range. It wasn't about having Salmons so the team would win more games right now. It was about the caliber of player and the contract. And the Kings aren't getting the #1 pick anyway.

Zydrunas Ilgauskas just became the fourth player in Cavaliers history with ten-thousand points: the other three are LeBron James (12,658), Brad Daugherty (10,389) and Austin Carr (10,265).

Miami at Detroit ... Contests like this remind me of why I first fell in love with the game.

Whew! That was one closely fought game between the Spurs and Rockets. The one they gave away came back to bite the Spurs in the butt. Scola was fantastic on both sides of the floor with 19 pts, 17 rbs, 4 asts, 3 stls.

Grr... it grates me to think that we may have had a shot at Scola and Lowry. That Morey guy ain't bad, I tell you.

Every win by the Rockets right now is pure gold for the Kings. And Houston is the only Texas team I don't actually hate.
