Why does Bobby Brown take the ball from the in-bounds and move it not up the middle as much but off to the far right:confused:? It allows the defense to trap him, even just his man using the out of bounds line as a second defender. This dude has a helluva lot to learn to be an NBA PG. I'd think about putting him down in the D-league for awhile once Greene comes back. Maybe sign DeMarcus Nelson or just go with Bjax and Cisco as Beno's back-up.

Someone must have given the memo to both benches... For awhile it looked like kings were allowing them to shoot 3's so they could reach that record... Then I just realized that's how we've played defense all night :(

sure

just like the Celtics game - we showed tremendous amount of pride

in Europe after such a home game - players would need a military escort to leave premises, and this is the 2nd time that happened this season. In addition the home players would need an umbrella just to finish the game. This is why home teams very, very rarely embarrass themselves at home. Losing is OK because Magic are a superior team but this isn't just losing. This is insulting the home crowd - spitting them in the face.

1. Congratulations to the magic for beating the 3-point record. I wish it wasn’t against us but they were playing beautifully. I was hoping they’d keep knocking down those 3’s.

2. Superman! I’m seriously jealous of the Magic and their fans.

3. The Magic played a nice team game.

4. I don’t care if we won this game, lost it by 2 or whatever, I don’t like Natt. I guess this is what we get for dumping Adelman.

5. Why was Bobby Jackson in the end portion of the game?

6. We were done a while ago, why didn’t we insert Sheldon (sooner) and Quincy?

7. Another Kenny Thomas sighting.

8. If we’re going to be playing Kenny. Then give the DNP to Mikki. Do not play both.

9. Beno needs to shave.

10. Did I mention how I don’t like Natt.

Why is Grant acting like we're soposed to be excited about this ****?!

Fire him along with every idiot on the kings coach staff.
Because he's not a Sacramento Kings fan. He's said it before long ago that he's just the TV broadcaster for the team. He's not a 49ers, Raiders, A's, SF Giants, SJ Sharks fan - etc. He only routes for "his" New York teams.

Fire the idiot Napear - Maloof's - PULEEZZZ!
I dislike Napear as much as the next guy, but since when does the team announcer have to be a homer for the team? You want everybody to be like Johnny Most?

This Napear comment (mine and others) was in context of his screaming out at unreal decibel level that Orlando Magic had just broken the Arco record for most 3 pointers made in a game. He later toned it down just a tiny bit when yelling out that they'd now broke the all-time NBA record for 3's. I don't care that he's not a homer for the Kings, but clearly he is one for his NYC teams. Napear's hideous East Coast superiority complex is just boorish and a lot of people have had enough of it out of his howdy doody mouth in Sac for over 20 years.

Petrie had better do something! I don't mean right now, but for all the pain and suffering we (as fans) are going through he better f'ing do something.

I don't know why Natt has everyone run under the screen they should make a decision: what is better a player taking an open three or driving to the lane: and when team goes for 23 3s they should go on the OUTSIDE of the screen.

Kings just need to watch the tape and watch how Orlando handles the screens with a freaking DOUBLE TEAM.

This team has digressed to the point of disparity. I think the only two playing worth a damn right now are Martin and Flaco (Cisco). All the rest you can have for picks period.

I went to the game. I think it was uglier in person than it ever could have been on TV. And Arco was maybe half full. Felt like a morgue sometimes....

The Magic second unit were rubbing our noses in it near the end and still jacking up threes and the bench was just laughing. When that happens I want nothing more than a Kings player to just knock someone down the next time the other team attempts a three or a layup. I really don't care at this point whether it's a dirty play or not. Knock. Someone. Down. Show some f-ing pride out there. I am so sick of this.

Of course. When our guys have been beaten badly in a basketball game, the only logical course of action is to DELIBERATELY CAUSE PHYSICAL HARM to their guys. How could we possibly hold on to our dear, dear pride unless we inflict a bloody nose or a broken rib. If we're sneaky about it, we could even do worse. Maybe we could try to blow out Dwight Howard's knee! That would show them!

But maybe that's not the best idea. Maybe it would be better if our guys would shake hands with their guys and head off to the locker room while angry-faced emoticonners like yourself get their emotions in check and try to act like adults.

Yikes,

Magic 3PT%: 23-37 for 62.2%
Magic FG%: 49-81 for 60.5%
So much for Maloofs wanting a coach who can get his team to guard the 3 pointer!

Thats just ridicilous! Giving away free lay ups for years wasn't enough for us so now we have added a new niche, giving up 3 pointers like lolies to kids :(

I think it is about time that die-hard fans try to do some drastic actions. The players, coaching staff, and the whole organization itself just don't care about the feelings of the fans anymore. I don't see any pride left from top to bottom. Some fans are even silently praying for the team to lose for that lottery pick which is really a big sign of desperation. This Kings team with all it's talent is just so disgusting with the kind of effort they've been showing.

Is there anyway that some fans can be organized to boycott the games to humiliate to the max the whole team?

Or better yet, have a rally with placards showing the names of those players and telling how they've been so disgusting.

It is just sickening.

I, too, went to the game. And all I gotta say is 2 things:

1. I want my 2 1/2 hours back
2. I want my money back plus interests

Silently praying? More like vocally advocating. I don't think it's a sign of desperation. It's a rational (though painful) acceptance of reality.

In case you hadn't noticed, the fan boycott has pretty much been in place all year. I think we're dead last in attendence. Maybe we can set a all pro-sports record and have a game where no one shows up. Followed up by Sacramento kissing the team goodbye. Yeah, that would teach them.

My condolences to those of you who witnessed the massacre live.

I don't want a homer announcer, but neither do a want a home team announcer who goes all slavering, ga-ga giddy over the team that's embarrassing my team severely.

Yes, it was an NBA record and Howard is fantastic. But I don't need the dubious pleasure of having the opponent and my team's announcer grinding my face in it. I can take having the record pointed out and comments on how good the opponent is, but having a screaming count down to the record was a little much. Not to mention the hahahas as the record three went down.

Your outrage is disproportionate to GameBall's comments, in my opinion. The proverbial "hard foul" to stop the other team from showing you up is a long-standing tradition in sports, and basketball has never been an exception. Obviously, option 1 is to actually show up: if you don't want the other team to drop twenty-three three pointers on you, howzabout defending the three-point line? But most teams have a Raja Bell, or a Matt Harpring, or a Danny Fortson... a "designated goon," if you will, to dispense a hard foul when a hard foul is called for. The point isn't to go out there to intentionally hurt the star (or anyone else) on the other team, the point is to send the message that, "Okay, you might be kicking our butts, but there's still a line. Don't cross it."

You're entitled to that opinion, but "I don't care if it's a dirty play or not. Knock. Someone. Down." is completely ridiculous in my book. We're a bad team. We got beat by a good team. We don't need to engage in dirty play because we're embarrassed at the way we played. It would serve no purpose. And as you notice, we didn't. It would have been childish if we did, and it was childish to demand it.
